Swollen hand after lumpectomy & SNB??

I just had my lumpectomy and SNB this morning.
A few minutes ago, I noticed that my hand, on the side of the lumpectomy/SNB is swollen. Not my wrist or arm at all, just my hand. (No pain with this and no change in color.)
Is this normal?
Is there anything that I can do to reduce the swelling?

Call your surgeon's office. (I'd be concerned about anything that occurs the same day as surgery.) There should be someone on call to help even if it's after office ours for you.

You know, the more I look at it, the less I think it's swollen. I asked my husband if he noticed anything about my hands and he said no. Then, I asked if he thought one hand looked swollen and he said no.

I'm thinking it may be my mind messing with me because I keep constantly checking everything, LOL!
