Looking for a good Surgeon in Oklahoma
In 2011 I had a mass biopsied, it was diagnosed as a benign fibroadenoma. Discomfort and pain continued so I went back in last month. Mammogram showed it has enlarged and surgeon recommended a lumpectomy. I wasn't happy with the surgeon i consulted with. She made a lot of jokes and blew off my concerns. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or recommendations for a surgeon in oklahoma who does pretty work.

Any of the Mercy okc Breast surgeons are excellent. I used Dr. Boggs and would never hesitate to use him again. Dr Talbert at OU Med is great too.Denise Rable is great too, I think she is at Integris?

Hi songbird - Welcome and sorry you have to be here. I checked some of your posts and I know you are at a really scary time right now not having met with your oncologist and not knowing your treatment plan. We have been there. Us Okie ladies have to stick together so if there is anything you want to get off your chest (ouch, pun intended) we're here for you. You'd be amazed at the wealth of knowledge we've accumulated. Elaine - I find neoadjuvant chemo just fascinating. May I ask how you reponded to it? Another lady on these boards did neoadjuvant hormonal therapy which is ground breaking too in my opinion.
