Wednesday Weigh In
Comments
-
Up 3 lbs - wow, must have just ate all week and done nothing else. See less of me next week!
-
Stayed the same 134.5. Actually it was higher after Turkey Day, but is back down. Still need to lose more.
-
Up two. Could it have been the first piece of pie? The second? Or the third?
-
Up one pound.
-
I'm the same because..... I'm doing everything the same right now. I've said it before but I've got to tighten things up to start seeing weight loss again!
-
I lost .5 lb by Wednesday and still the same weight three days later. It's soooooo hard to lose weight it seems.
-
Two, yes it is but don't give up.
-
Patoo, you and I are in the same weight range. I was down to 165 and along came Thanksgiving and a week's travel to IL, to St. Louis, then down to Houston. Not just the holiday food but all the fast food on the road packed on 6 1/2 lbs. I shot up to 171.5. This morning I'm down to 168.5. Will try to eat healthy this week. Lower carb and small/reasonable portions.
Can you believe I sabotaged myself by buying fruit cake at Sam's Club? The boxes were stacked at the checkout counter. I stood there repeating grimly to myself, "I will not buy fruitcake." At the last second, my hand reached out and took one of those boxes!!!
-
Naughty hand, Carole! LOL. I have a week's travel ahead of me and am hoping not to do too much damage scale-wise.
-
carolehalston, I love fruitcake. Hope to not pass any (have to do food shopping t'm). This morning I was down 2 to 167.2. I remember when I couldn't seem to break 170 so I refuse to hit 170 ever again. My sister and a friend arriving tomorrow so here goes 2 weeks of challenge and then it's Christmas - Yikes!
-
Down 1.5 to 133.0. Now to keep it there.
-
Down one pound and happy about it
-
I lost a pound, but don't know how as I didn't eat that well at all!
-
Down .8 at 168. Not sure how but I'll take it!
-
Same as last week...
-
I'm also the same as last week.
-
This week I lost half a pound. I'm not sure I'll be able to keep it off over the next two but I'm going to try!
-
down .2 (point 2). I'll take it. Let's see where I'm at next time I post - 2 weeks. Everyone enjoy your Christmas holiday.
-
"No Comment" (made Christmas Cookies.....you can guess the rest!)
-
Up 1.5 to 134.5. Who knew Xmas candy could do that?
-
Up 1 kilo at this week's peak but managed to burn some calories yesterday and hold off on the cookies and am down half a kilo again. Have to get down some more before we go away for Christmas.
-
I am down 2.6 lbs to130.3. I had some assistance from a stomach virus but still thrilled to keep that much of the loss off after four days of eating. The moral of the story is I pretty much have to fast to lose weight. That's the least fun diet of all.
-
Holding.....I know I will be eating the next couple days, but if I can hop back on Saturday, I would be okay. Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! Happy Shortest Day of the Year.......we are now in the process of tilting back toward the sun....lets get ready for wearing our short shorts
-
Stayed the same. That's a lie, I gained a pound but managed to lose it by today. 134.5. Not willing to have a stomach virus to lose weight, sorry.
-
Holding here also. Hoping to stay that way till after the holidays!
-
Gained 3 pounds over the holiday season but just about lost them now. Whew!
Does anyone here struggle with insomnia and manage to stay on your eating plan the next day. I am ravenous when I get less than 6 hours of sleep. How do you fellow insomniacs do this?
Hugs,
Peggy
-
I have tons of relaxation CDs which I play all night long.....also I have a bottle of Ambein which I keep in reserve and take every once and awhile so that I can get some deep sleep and catch up a little. I am hungry whether I sleep or not....so I can't blame my eating habits on lack of sleep! Speaking of eating, I am up several pounds; but last night I threw out the leftover cookies, chex mix, dressing, fudge etc. etc. so that should put a halt to some of the snacking & if I behave those pounds should come off again pretty quickly.
-
I'm up 5 or 6 lbs since before Thanksgiving. Hope to get back to healthy sugar-free eating soon.
-
Peggy, I always ate more after not sleeping well. I think I was trying to get more energy.
-
i can barely get into my jeans; not getting on a scale!
