Fat grafting question

I had my exchange surgery with fat grafting 2 1/2 weeks ago. They took the fat from my lower abdomen and I still get some significant swelling (like looking pregnant) in my lower abdomen at the end of the day. I wore compression undergarments for the first 2 weeks. Maybe I need to keep wearing them for another week or so?

Anyone have experience with this? I'm sure this is normal but I just didn't think I'd still have swelling issues after 2 weeks. For some reason, that was the magic number I had in my head LoL

    I just had fat grafting (from thigh to breast) done Dec. 1 (yesterday), and was told by my PS to wear the compression girdle for 4 weeks, 24/7 except for showering, and then an additional 2 weeks at night only after the initial 4 week period has passed.

    Oh good to know! I'm sure my PS told me how long to wear compression but for the life of me I can't find it written down anywhere.

    I think I'll go back to wearing the compression for another 2 weeks.
