Good to see the troop's sense of humor!
-
Oh my this is too funny. What a great picture.
Poor Kerry, what a stupid thing to say!
Nicki -
Kerry made the joke about Bush not the troops, but how stupid was he????? Some people can never learn to button their lip! It is a very funny pic, though . Thank God, with all that goes on in Iraq, they can still keep a good sense of humor

That's scary!
-
I second that.
-
Yep, it'd be nice to hear for a change just what would another candidate do instead of running off at the mouth.
I am truly impressed with our military.

I thought this was a support group board. Why are we talking nasty politics?
-
Oh mauro06: Dont be offended. Sometimes we just need a place to go to joke, laugh, and talk about something other than bc. I always come here cause it gives me a smile each day. Although I admit, talking politics can get nasty. Im just trying to look at the lighter side of it.
Now back to the subject at hand. What a dufus Kerry was for making that statement. I think pic of our troops says it all - and it really made me smile. Im finding this week-end particularly frustrating. All the phone calls, all the TV adds, all the people knocking on my door telling me to vote. I cant wait until Tuesday is over. and here in Illinois I dont like anyone who is running. So when I got vote I think Im gonna close my eyes and just "eenie meenie minee mow it."
The sad thing about Kerry is that he is a Vietnam War Veteran - so he sure didnt mean to insult anyone. -
Maur06 - We do tend to bounce around a little sometimes, and that's ok! Having a place we can come to and talk to other survivors is fantastic! But, especially here in the Humor section, we don't always talk about BC. This is where we go to lighten up a little LOL.

That's what he said the morning after. I heard the clip, and that's NOT what it sounded like when he said it. Of course, they didn't run any more of his speech. the man's an idiot. The democrats are in DEEP kimche if they expect to run this man for president. And don't even MENTION Hillary! -
Why does anyone care what Kerry says? He's not running for anything. Bush mangles the english language constantly and nobody seems to care, and he is, well, president. I still can't believe he got away with that slimey backrub thing on the German premier.
-
Thank you!!! Kerry is not running for a darn thing. And you are so right! Sometimes I wonder what people in other countries think when they hear what comes out of our president's mouth. It makes me cringe.
But, Kerry really should think before he opens his mouth . He may not be running for president, but he is still a reflection on the Democrats. But, I agree. I don't care one bit what Kerry says. -
I agree, Biker, i didn't like the joke he was attempting and i didn't like the way he botched it but geez, who cares. I am glad that he was basically kicked off the campaign trail.
-
The majority of Americans are of the opinion that botching a joke is not as unforgivable as botching a war.
Thank goodness for democracy. -
I agree with you, Donna. While Kerry's botched joke was news for a week, the Iraq War is another story.
