yes ! Another great day. Have felt great all day. When dss got home we went to town and ran errands. Ds1 needed jeans, ds2 needed socks, bsskin robbins for ice cream and then we hit the library - I love to read and thought it would be good to get some items while they are home for thanksgiving break, 9 days. We got books, movies. Music CDs, and ps3 games. Always amazed what all our library offers. I am major excited that they will be out 9 days and I am doing so well. I hope we get a lot more happy photos for our scrap books which we are making while they are out. I am terrible about leaving my pics on my phone or computer. Never get printed out. I am determined to make the scrap books so on days tgey are havin a hard time mentally they can look back at all the fun things we have done. It's easy to forget the good days when there are so many horrible days. I am choosing happy !

So glad to see you are doing well Patty! I was so worried about you for a while, like you said it's hard to remember the good days when the bad days are happening. Have fun with your family! Cheers, Dee

thank you everyone for the Thanksgiving wishes for me and my family. I love all of the pictures loverly. Thank you. So I'm back in the hospital again. Same stuff. Uncontrollable vomiting and diarrhea dehydration and fever. Got here Saturday. Starting to feel a little better today. Woke up hungry that's a good sign right? Waiting on the infectious disease doctor to come in. Hoping he has an idea what's going on. They have me on 3 different antibiotics. So they can hopefully cover whatever the problem is. I know last Monday the oncologist nurse called me and said my WBC count is so low that I should not leave my house or have company over. Common cold could put me back in the hospital. I did follow her advice. Didn't go anywhere didn't have company still got sick.
Of course my dear sons are very scared again that I will not come home from the hospital. It's just so very hard for there and understand what's going on. I question myself often is it better for me to be here and them to be worried every day for me, or for me to die so that they can start healing. On the days that I feel good i knoe that I'm still adding value to their lives. When I'm sick I don't see the value.
-
It's GONE! I posted a note to you and it's gone! What I was saying was..... Peppermint, you add value to ALL of our lives.... I don't like when you are sick either... but I gotta believe we are here for a reason....
I'm so sorry your Sons are worried.... it's only natural......... None of us can understand what is going on.....but just maybe they will come up with something, or some reason and can help you out with this......
Some day we will all look back and think "why THIS, and maybe we'll never know the answer.... Just know that I'm one of your guardian angels... and I'll be watching over you and thinking about you every day..... Love you little Sister.... xoxo

Turning the lights on for you, Patty.

Patty, Praying that things get better for you quickly.
-
Patty - holding you close to my heart. Your posts are so beautiful and honest. You are a beautiful person and a wonderful woman and mother.
-
musiclover. - thanks
Ruth. Thanks for turning my lights on friend. ๐. I love to play the games with ya. Seems like we are on st different times now. Are you also a card and board game player ? Wish we lived close enough to get together for a game night. No one in my family likes games. My mom sure did but she'd been in heaven 4 years now.
Chevy. - aww you called me your lil sister. How sweet. Would love for you to be my big sister. I'll trade in one well actually 2 of my step sisters for you . I always end my conversations with my big sista by saying : kiss kiss. I love my sis. So.....kiss kiss I love my sis. ๐
I am anxiously waiting on results from ct last night. Praying for not only no progression but a decrease would be great.

Oh, Patty, I get how feeling so sick can bring on the thoughts you've expressed. But losing a Mother is a lifelong loss -- not something your young sons will quickly heal from, especially at their ages. And research breakthroughs are actually happening faster now than they ever have. Wouldn't it be worse if you gave up and within a year something came along that might have prolonged our lives even longer -- until there are even more breakthroughs?
I know I've said it to you many times, but when you are feeling up to it, please try to get a second opinion work up at a major university cancer center where they will have specialists to figure out what is going on with these severe vomiting episodes, which are not usual. I don't think you'd be feeling nearly as low if you could get a handle on what is causing them and stop them so that you felt as good as you did just a week or so ago.
Praying for positive news from your CT! Love you, Patty!

Praying for Reggie (regression), Patty!
