My surgery was last Friday

Hey everyone, I had my lumpectomy surgery on Friday and everything went great. I also had my port put in at the same time. I am a bit sore today but not nearly what I expected. I go on Dec 14 to find out the results of the sentinel node biopsy and clear margins. My surgeon did say there was nothing obviously abnormal looking regarding the nodes so fingers crossed that is the case 😊

I'm so glad you sailed through the surgery, Danielle. I did too, and I've had several lumpectomies and a mastectomy and none of them was bad.
