Swollen lymph node and red line running to biopsy site

Hi, I had bilateral biopsies done last week on Tuesday and am due to get the results this coming Tuesday. Last night I started feeling pain umder my left arm and now, in addition to a bruised and swollen lymph node, there is a red line running from the swollen node to the biopsy site. Am freaking out a bit and wondered if anyone else had experienced anything similar? Will head to the dr tomorrow if no better. Thanks in advance!

    You should have gotten a paper that tells you what you should do if you start experiencing certain symptoms while recovering from the biopsies.  Please call the number on the paper or go to the doctor to be checked.  They need to look to see whether you have an infection.  Good luck.
