Whole arm throbbing without pain?

I'm pretty sure I have early lymphedema. I had a MX and ALND with 17 nodes removed and have had heaviness in my arm since then. I went to a PT immediately after my surgery and he broke up my cords and did massage. I'm a swimmer and I found that swimming helped control the heavy feeling.

I started a new job and neglected my swimming. The past few weeks, I have started feeling a sensation that I'm wearing a too tight sleeve. But the truly weird symptom I've had is episodes of a tingling and throbbing arm. It will start as tingling in my hand and then move up my entire arm in a throbbing sensation without pain. It will last for a few minutes and then go away. I've read about tingling being a sign of lymphedema, but I haven't read anything about throbbing. It's such a discombobulating feeling. Has anyone else had it

while I have LE, I know that swimming helps me in all ways. Certainly see a LE therapist but also, get thee to a pool and swim! I have developed spinal stenosis and mano but the swimming keeps all parts of me happier! SWIM GIRL swim!

not sure I have had the heavy feeling but I do know that lifting weights is nasty for me

I have Lymphedema and when I lift anything I shouldn't, even with a sleeve on, my arm throbs.

I would highly recommend you see a trained Lymphedema Therapist right away to help!!

Denise, I saw my PT yesterday and he measured my arm - no change from last year! But he said you usually feel lymphedema before you see it so he recommended I wear my sleeve for a week and do MLD twice a day. And of course, get back to swimming, which I need to do anyway, as I'm supposed to be training for a race. I was just freaked out about the throbbing and was wondering if anyone else had it
