Plus size gals considering implants
So I am a 10 days out from my BMX w/ TE. I think I was in shock when I first met with my PS because I asked her very few questions and now i am getting worried.
Before my mastectomy I was a 38D. I am 5'9, about 200 lbs and wear a size 16 (pretty symmetrical as far as body type goes with definite booty, waist, and what used to be boobs.). You know, a curvy girl. And a big girl...big hands, broad shoulders, big feet, just big. I always used to joke that for me to fall into the recommended weight for my height (like 145) I'd have to get cancer. Not so funny anymore.
Anyway, I'm worried now that any silicone implants will end up looking way to small on my frame. Any plus size girls out there who've gone through this that can give me any insight?
Ps. I have spent the last 15 months working out with a personal trainer twice a week and on my elliptical for 30-60 minutes 4 days a week (all of which of course is now on hold for a while since right now I'm winded after taking a shower). I've eaten so many vegetables my skin should be green. I've lost 28", 30 pounds, and NOW I have cancer. THIS SUCKS. ok, rant is over.

Thanks for posting and we look forward to hearing more from you!

Gator - Im a big, once Midwestern farm girl, solid, as my dad said! However I never was that big on top. At my Mx I was a 40 B/C. I lived in fear of getting too big of implants. I went by the grams of tissue removed at the Mx to determine when to stop expansion. I had 200cc put in at Mx and one fill of 150. My PS put in 421 mid profile. In retrospect I could use a bit more in the upper pole but it is all good. The expanders look and feel bigger than the same size implants so keep that in mind. The best thing about the implants under the pecs??No bra. Ever! Woo hoo!
