face red and puffy. mouth is trashed

dk if my face behind red and puffy if from the rads or chemo. My mouth is just awful. Sore and dry. I feel terrible, nausea and tired. Am I ever going to feel better. My last rad was last Monday

    I suspect you're getting some type of steroid with your chemo? The red, puffy, burning face is a pretty typical side effect of that. It does suck. I ended up refusing the steroid, but in doing that you take a pretty big risk in having a severe reaction to the chemo. I would mention the mouth issues to your onc. They have a few things they can prescribe. Unfortunately, none of them will make food taste any better. Hope you feel better soon.

    I agree you should call. That does not sound typical of rads. Steroids may make your face red, but it could be a reaction too since it is puffy. Hoping you get relief soon
