Waiting, scared...

I was wondering if anyone here has any input. My Doctor confirmed the abnormal growth/ lump in

My breast. I had the mammogram and ultrasound and am waiting for my Doctor to call me with results.Scared beyond words. Mostly bc I am 37 and have 5 kids. Lump is at the about 2 o clock just above my nipple and feels about 1 centimeter long. Me breast is tender and sore to the touch. Anyone have had similar experience??? Thank you for any input !!!

    Kacie, sorry you had to look us up. Many women come here with all sorts of bumps & lumps. Some painful, some dimples. Your dr. Might say let's check again in 6 months to a year, or let's get a biopsy.

    Supposedly 80 percent of biopsies are benign. Lots of hormonal changes our breasts go through. We all know how stressful it is to wait for a follow up phone call, or a biopsy result. Keep busy, the waiting part is the worst. Our minds can think the worse, when odds are it is nothing.
