Found a new mass

I'm almost 2 yrs out from 1st DX. Had BMX with implants. Just found a new mass on my cancer side, between my original tumor and armpit up in the pec area. Ultrasound scheduled tomorrow. Rationally, it can't be cancer again. I've only been out of treatment since June. I'm hoping it is scar tissue - it's near where my chemo port was. But it feels exactly like the first tumor did - that I passed over thinking it was something else the first time I went through this. It definitely feels different from my other side. This is new

Then again, the ACS would tell me to ignore it. I'm still not 45 and not supposed to be self examining..,

    did you call your docs? Definitely get s biopsy, keep us posted


    My recurrence was 14 months after I finished chemo....... And I was very "low risk". Don't mess with it. They told me they were "sure" mine was scar tissue. I insisted on a biopsy. Glad I did since they were wrong
