Hola Shel- Happy Day of The Dead, big festiva in Mexico.
Vickie - love the pics, yur daughter looks like you. Bur somehow, you look like you are in much better health than her. LOL
Randi-glad your baby is better, but I couldn't peek at the pics. Too sad.
Vera, scary! like your house decorations!
Janis - are you not scaring the pants off of some lil boy right now? They should all be scared of you or maybe you'll be the inspiring teacher they need. LOL
Happy Holla' Ween Girls!
Had to work, now off to dreamland! -
Oh, Christine! I'm not out EVERY night chasing young men, just SOME nights!
I did turn down a date with a new guy (older, my age!) last night because I wanted to be home for the trick-or-treaters but I only got three groups! Oh well, I'm still glad I was home relaxing.
I work tonight, am off tomorrow. I get to see my onc and have date #3 with a nice guy (younger but not by much). Were going out for Thai - yum! I think I'm starting my period so no 'funny business' with him this time.
Cheers! Happy November.....
Janis L -
Ok this was Nootie on halloween of 2004
-
I'm so glad that he's doing better,
at least your pup isn't embarassed like mine was
peace

Careful Randi my daughter just might take himn for her batman collection, and she's almost 21 no
Ooooh I didn't have anything to drink but I think the pills are kicking in so I'm signing off fort tom\night -
Randi - I'm sooo glad that Nootie is ok! I feel like I have a lot to catch up on! I had my implants replaced on Monday and I'm just feeling good enough to check in.
I haven't been drinking at all. First it was pain meds ( which made me sick) and now I just don't feel like it ! Maybe some wine tonight. We'll see.
Shel - I'm so glad you are having a good time in Mexico!! You really needed this break. You must fill us in when you get home . -
Jan, how are the new implants? I hope they are good and that your feeling better soon.
Cheryl, your daughter would love Nootie.
Ok - I'm really into my merlot lately and this am I heard a blip on the news about it not just being good for your heart but also losing weight, did I hear that right?
1 more day till friday. wahoooooooo
Randi -
Randi - It's a little early to tell, but so far the implants look good! I just don't want them to get hard like the other ones did. These are pretty soft right now. I went down in size a little, and I'm hoping that that will keep them soft.
I loved the pic of Nootie!! Friends of ours have a pug named "Fudge" who has the longest tongue I have ever seen!! There is always at least a little bit hanging out of his mouth. He can actually lick peanut butter from the top of his head.
I don't know about the weight thing with Merlot, but there was an article in our paper this morning about red wine making mice live longer, whether they ate bad or were over-weight. I think I will pour myself a nice big glass of Cabernet tonight! If I'm going to be over-weight, I might as well enjoy myself .
Cheers! -
I heard the same thing as Jan, but they ended the report by saying, we would have to drinke HUGE amounts (even for us)of red wine to compare to the amounts given to the mice.
-
How huge??? I'm always up for a challenge !
-
Pass me the bottle, I love red wine.
jan I would love to lose some of my boob, when I met my hubby i had like a 32A, and they looked as if I had just breast feed a baby, I had lost a ton of weight, now I'm a 38C and I hate them.
Ok a pug that has a tounge long enough to lick his head, and his name is fudge, something wrong there.........ahahhah
Bottoms up laides.
Randi -
Randi,
I swear to you, I have seen this dog. It is hysterical! The guy who owns him wanted to take him into bars and make bets on how long his tongue was. Like I said, a little bit of it is always hanging out. Then all of a sudden...swoosh!! It must be 7 or 8 inches long . I'm feeling better now, so I think a glass of the red is in order for tonight!
Cheers! -
Jan,
I will be drinking a glass as soon as I get home. Dear hubby tried to light a fire and could not get it to start and man is he pissy. I said dear hubby you are not a boy scout. hahahahhahahhahhahaa
Cheers my friends.
and Get me a picture of that dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
Just had to stop by and had to whine! I love my Pino Grigio. Now I have my favorites. Some are expensive and some are not! So I come home today looking for a nice glass of wine!! Husband decided to buy the cheap brand. Ewwwwwww! its like cheap wine you get in a cheap bar!
Nicki -
(((Nicki)))
I hear you on cheap wine - blech! It's cold out but I say go get yourself a 'good' bottle tonight! -
-
Randi - so glad to hear your Nootie is doing better.
That's the cutest Batman I've ever seen...where's Cat Woman?
Cheers,
Donna -
Randi,
I don't see these people very often, but if I do and they have the dog with them, I will get a pic!
Well, feeling pretty good and back to drinking. I caved in and had a couple of cabernets. Oh well, life is good! I don't have to be back to work until next thursday!! Yeah!! -
Has anyone tried "Kris" pinot grigio? I did NOT like it at first, but now I love it. Yum.
-
I decided next time I buy beer for my husband, its gonna be Blatz or Pabst Blue Ribbon. Far change from Heinekins!!
My favorite Pinot Grigio is Santmargarita - but way to expensive. So I stick with Mezzacorona. On my way home from work tonight Im gonna buy a bottle of wine. And yep, you all guessed it. Its gonna be Santa Margarita!
Have a great day.
Nicki -
Back when DH and I were first married, we had a friend who got realy trashed on Blatz beer one night. The next morning, we all went the the Jersey shore for the day. There is no putting this politely......This guy farted, in the car, the whole way to the shore. It was the longest, most horrible car ride of my life. Needless to say, he never drank Blatz again, and I can't even look at it without remembering that awful day ! My stomach is getting queasy just thinking about it.
-
Oh Jan. Thats a funny story. When I got home today, I had a good bottle of wine waiting for me. Guess I whined enough about the wine.
Actually on my second glass now and enjoying every minute of it. Or should I say every sip.
Nicki -

I don't drink, can we talk about CHOCOLATE??????
-
Welcome back shel! You sound like you're doing great!
maur- I think chocolate, especially dark is so great. We could probably start a whole new thread, or even an entire new forum for the chocoholics here. Oh yea, someone started a thread titled "do you eat Green and Black's organic dark choc..." under the Growing Our Friendships forum. It gives me crazy cravings when I talk about choc, going to find some now...
