Brintellix

Options

hello! Does anyone have experience with taking Brintellix? It is a newer antidepressant. I'm wondering about any side effects. I've tried so many antidepressants in the past with some successes, my fav is Wellbutrin but is contraindicated when taking Tamoxifen, so I'm trying a this new one. I'm on day 2. Nausea is horrid. Thank goodness I have a stash of zofran left over from chemo! I'm particularly concerned about avoiding weight gain. The tamoxifen already has me on a roll! Ugh!! Thanks for any insight on Brintellix

Chantal, my daughter has recently begun taking brintalex and from what she says and my own observations, it is a drug with few SE other than the initial nausea. She has been on it for about a month and is doing well.

    Hope this helps a little.

    Love n hugs. Chrissy

hi Chrissy, thanks for your reply. I am not sure how I missed it. I'm glad to heAr your daughter is doing well. You are right, the nausea has been serious. I'm looking forward to it subsiding. I'm also pretty constipated. Not fun. So far, otherwise, do good. I seem to have the will to be active and participate in life which is important. Keep me posted on your daughter's well being, please. Take care
