Hey Eeyore. I knew there was someone I missed in the 4 pages I scanned. Good to see you again.

hi Patty, nice to see you here and feeling good. Keep doing that!

Luvmygoats, it took me about 15 min to find the fabric. I new the manufacture and how long ago I got it, so pretty easy. It came today so I can get the topper done.

My shoes are Naturalizers. Only thing I can wear so that my plantar fasciitis doesn't flare up. Also have bought them on eBay.

    Ok, whose birthday is next?

    image

I'm taking my dd out tomorrow to eat, shop and see a movie for her birthday, which is Saturday but I'll be out of town.

Mags, Really like the love seat, did you get it from Penney's?

Cute dog, but you knew that!

Where's Sassy, still out making out for the missed birthday with DBF??

Have you been on the movie thread yet? It's going crazy, I can't keep up

    Love all the Peanuts characters!

Seachain, it looks like somebody winterized that cat.

Spookie looks like she's in the National Dog Show. I like her little purple bow. She does look like she has enough hair for both of you.

Smaarty, the loveseat came from Wayfair. I searched the internet for days looking for a blue loveseat, and there just aren't many out there. This is beautiful, velvety, comfy, and it's a Serta! And the shipping was free. Very reasonable cost as well. We also bought a corner writing table from them, to use as a tv stand. It'll be great – if DH ever gets around to putting it together.

Loverly & Goats, this is my favorite thread. I usually hoover around but rarely land. I am sure Spookiemom can verify the wind hasn't changed direction to snow in Florida. But I miss Marlana too. Patty's choosing happy gives me a lot encouragement. Happy to see her getting a good break, also happy to see Rosevally feeling well and postingoften. Oh, love those Peanuts! ❤️

Okay Peppermint! I decorated this house for YOU... I built it, then I decorated it!

    image

I'm still looking for candy-canes at Walmart, but they only have the kind I have to plug in, and I don't have an outside plug out front... So You'll have to just stay in this house, and enjoy all my hard work.... Ha!

Now Eeeeeeeyore......... You better keep feeling better... we need you around here...

    image

But that's what we are here for!

Such a cute girl Wren! Hah! My Daughter made herself one, but I posted it to her FB page... she somehow "lost" it after she did it, but I saved the day...

So I guess we are to assume Sass is still in the dog-house.... BIG time! She is probably groveling on her hands and knees, and fixing him Spam sandwiches....

Sass.... I had the same problem one time with my prescription sun glasses.... allergic to that plastic. I even tried polishing them with clear polish.... I think that helped.

Same with the little clear plastic things on my hearing aids.... My ears were swollen until they got used to them... I took Benadryl...... The audiologist gave me some "calm ear" to use also.... okay now though....

Chevy thanks, you're always there :). That's what I meant by polyurethane --it's a particular plastic. I'm allergic to polyurethane. It's a long story how playing Sherlock Holmes worked out. I had hoped it wouldn't extend beyond the initial problem item. Now I can't risk it. I found a pair of glasses in my dress purse that may work until I can get some metal ones. They are so tight over the temples the glass portion stands in mid air. But they float down and I have to keep readjusting them or hold them up with one hand.. Plus, they are putting pressure on my crani scar. Always sumpin.

Thanks for posting the link to that vid of the little boy. Brought tears to my eyes.

Agree, people should do that with their dogs. If there is an accident, they will go flying, but I do see that happening here from time to time.

Patty: woo hoo for cooking with son!!!

    And Spookie dog looks beautiful!!

mags. Lol. Six months to fix it without reminding them? I am not that easy going.

Wren you're rocking it. Love these peanut pictures. Did I say I love Charlie Brown stuff by the way. Looking great

Eyeore. - jump in often. Enough people talking about a variety of things. Something will relate to you.

Chevy. Wow! Love it! I love Christmas lights! Christmas is my favorite holiday. Bet the neighbors are not too happy. So you save your dd day ? Hrhe she'd love that ha. Oh yeah by the way I don't see Sas groveling very much I do see her telling him how to make the spam.

I had another good day. I went to town and got lab at the oncologist office. I went to Walmart and exchanged socks for my youngest for a bigger size. They grow so quick. I meant to take back some jeans of my oldest who were too big but Old Navy doesn't open until 10 and I was home by then with my shoes off. I'm still feeling well and I'm getting ready to make chili cheese dogs and french fries with the fruit salad for supper. I have several different fruits that are beginning to go bad so I think a fruit salad and some banana nut bread to use up some bananas will round off for supper. Many nights my back would not even have allowed me to stand long enough to make that simplest of a meal so I'm very thankful that today I can do that. Today it's my oldest son's chore to help prepare supper and set the table although he doesn't really like cooking he is taking home ec this year. He does OK at it he just doesn't like it.

    Hootie hoo for now

Nothing wrong about boys in the kitchen. They all need to learn a little bit. Tell him to watch all the male chefs in tv!! Maybe he'll get inspired!! LOL. DH can cook, nothing fancy, but we wouldn't starve. I'm not much better. I like to bake. I'm going to make a TimTam cheesecake for Thanksgiving. It sounds yummy!

spooky. I'm going to tell him what is said about boys in the kitchen. Maybe it will inspire him. Right now he is most interested in starting a rock and roll band with his best friend. Last night he talked literally 4 hours with the boy. He has drums, guitars, & a keyboard up in his room but he doesn't know how to play any of it. Last night he asked the dh to begin to teach him how to play the drums. Something tells me it's about to get loud in my house. I may have to wear headphones for a while lol. Your cheesecake sounds yummy.

Patty, when my son went to Japan 16 years ago he asked me to write down his favorite recipes. Two of them were apple crumble and banana bread. His town had a festival and he made several batches of each to give out as samples. The ladies went crazy for them. Told him he should open a bakery and asked for the recipes. He had to get his (now) wife to help him convert the measurements to metric. I learned to cook from my dad. He was a much better cook than my mom.
