Oh Patty, I took a nap for both of us this afternoon! Two plus hours! It's that time of the month when my body is not cooperating.

    Rose, go to peanutizeme.com

    This is me, peanutized

Blah. It's sooooo cold this morning. But as it's been announced that Saturday night we will have our first freeze, in a couple hours I need to get out and finish the caulking of the windows, then trim and winterize the roses.

Chevy. You are hilarious. You look exactly as I would think you would supposed to look. I love spooky huh too funny. Now I just need to see what Sas looks like. These are hilarious. I can't remember who started this. I don't really want to go back. So thanks to whoever it was. I have enjoyed a great laugh. Still wiping the tears from my eyes. From laughing.

Blondie. Where are you. Anybody know? What would your peanuts characters look like? I think it would be Beach bound, blonde, surfing, bad to the bone character.

Ok I wasn't going to share but too funny. I have been using a voice command to do most of my typing. It is so easy to just talk and appears on the screen. However with my southern drawl some words I have to correct. When I was asking blondie what her peanuts character would be in typed penis character. Lol.

    On that note, Hootie hoo

Chevy, you're too funny. Glad you're having fun with this. Maybe Cubbie has the right idea. Our Peanut characters could be our avatars, or maybe not.

When MO said I would loose my hair, I said I'd get her cut and have a wig made. He didn't get it. She's a good girl. Share is not in her vocabulary. Won't share toys with Kris.

Did you listen to what that French Dad told his little boy yesterday in Paris? It was on the news. The Father said we would fight the terrorists with flowers and candles. They would not move and would stay strong in France. They would not hate or be filled with fear. It made me cry! They were Asian too father and son - and French. I love it. Just like America; we are from everywhere... mutts. Strength in diversity. ISIS is the threat not the people or Islam. I have known some gentle lovely Muslims. Pity all the carnage in Paris, the Russian plane, the hundreds lost in bombings all over the mid East.

I was at LOWE's a couple of days ago and watched as 2 men loaded some items on a flat bed truck. There has a huge mastif dog, thin coat curled up against the cab. His collar and leash were tied to the cab. There were no sides to the truck, no protection to being tossed by wind, force of turning or debris flying... the poor animal was just loose. All I could think of is one sharp sudden stop and the momentum of the moving vehicle and the weight of this enormous dog would make it go flying and snap it's neck. It was 48 degrees and raining... Mastifs have thin short coats. How could this not be animal abuse? How come a cop didn't pull those idiots over and ticket them? There was space in the rear cab to put the dog. Mastifs are very expensive too.. $800-1500 for a puppy. The dog was gorgeous and a good 175 pounds. I felt so bad for that poor dog. Then to see Spookie all dollied up and loved.. sigh.

Glad everyone sounds good and are up and about. Poor Colorado..all that snow and wind! Chevy you are brave, stay warm. Patty it's great to see your posts and feel your energy and happiness. Hugs to all.

Rose, They would get a big fat ticket here in WA. It's illegal to have them in the back unless they're inside a secured kennel. I agree, why have a dog if you don't want it in the cab.

Spookie looks gorgeous, but I think she's plotting how long it will be until she can roll in some mud.

My car is at the shop. The ABS light and brake light were blinking, although the brakes were working just fine. I have a hugely busy day tomorrow. If my car isn't OK to use, DH is going to be forced to share to take me places.

Allrighty - my goal is to catch up tonight. 4 pages behind. I have to have the heat man in no later than a week from Monday or Tuesday and you cannot walk thru the main living area. So cleaning is in my forecast.

So I will keep this open and read back thru the last 4 pages but I know I see Patty on this last page. YAY. I'm so glad you're feeling so much better but I agree with the advice to take it a little easy.

Seachain - so you're an Okie. I'm just NW of DFW area. I totally understand about not being able to get out of things. I have a denim jumper (another rant) that I can get in but cannot get out of - if I lost 20# it would help. So have to make sure DH is around if I wear it to church. Why do they not make nice jumpers anymore, at least ones without gigantic slits up the back?

OO Smaarty - hope the boobs like the Caribbean. Oh soup, I've made white chicken chili (gone) and Mon. I made sausage, kale, potato soup. Really good. I think this will be a soup winter. What kind did you make? How does one search for a particular fabric on Ebay? Can't imagine how you describe something like that. I've been on a hunt for my Thanksgiving stuff. Not for here, not even sure what we're doing. I have to decorate a table for Thanksgiving church dinner. I had more stuff than I thought

HaHa Loverly - I caught Smaarty's feet in her picture too. Nice shoes she has, comfy looking.

Kath - OH MY I missed your birthday.

Mags - I love the gingerbread house. My idea of decorative baking. I bake but bake to eat it lol. The love seat is lovely and I adore the color.

Hinting we may get some kind of snow late next week. I see snow showers on one forecast.

Posting this to see what I missed

jusy poppin in to say hey. I am still feeling well. Yea ! I made spaetti and garlic bread for supper. Was so excited to not only make supper for my family that wasn't frozen. Even more exciting I let ds2 (10) help with every step. He loves to cook and is actually pretty good of it. It takes much longer and is messier but so worth the quality time I spent with him. Choosing happy.

Rose, I saw the video. Brought tears to my eyes. Children shouldn't have to worry about such things.

    http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/paris-terror-atta...

Spookie is smiling. I think you are right, Jazzy.

Always get mixed emotions on this thread. One minute I am crying and next minute I am smiling or laughing (at Ms. Chevy's mischief). Happy for you Patty that you finally get a break and get to enjoy quality times with family.

I don't get why people have their dogs in the back of the trucks without a kennel or any safe restraint.

Hey Eeyore, we posted at the same time. We get to see you twice in two days? It must be snowing in Florida. Now, if Marlana shows up, it will snow.... I'm not making any sense like usual. Got to go pick up the kids from swim practice. Ta ta for now
