BB - needs lots of work' *sigh* 1950's. I know Id love it. Just need that million! Youd be welcome too of course lol
E love that! Dang men. Hmpf.
-
Simp- I saw the man on your FB page that decided to stop chemo. There are people who just decide they cannot keep it going anymore. There are Stage IV sisters here who will do it until they can't or don't want to anymore. He looks like a good soul, and hope he can enjoy some quality time with his family.
I am headachey tonight. Tomorrow will be a better day.
-
E- ha ha about the men cancelling. There was this one guy I agreed to meet one time from Match.com, but he never showed. I sent him a message after I got home (I give people the benefit of the doubt that there might have been something unexpected) and said I hoped everything was okay. It was clear he just forgot about it. I figured he must have had another Match meet up at the same time, although he did not say that.
He seemed like a smooth operator and asked me to meet him a second time, and I agreed, but said "if you are late, I am not hanging around." After I met him, it confirmed what I thought, pretty much a player. We had some conversation and both left and neither side was interested.
-
E- that is very true about men. I had a man flip the tables on that to me one time too. I had to cancel a match.com meet up because my mother became very ill (beginning of her ending) and had to go out of town. When I told the guy I had a family emergency, it was clear he did not believe me. Men assume we are liars like they are!

Jazzy, those PPO plans sound hopeful. Hopefully it is not too expensive.
I definitely don't regret staying put. That guy would have flaked out on me anyway.
Wow, that is quite the place, Simplicity. I see it says it needs a ton of work - sounds like my place! We've had so much rain, I had to get out my waterproof boots to put the car in the garage and still wade back into the house, and I have one of the storm doors tied shut because it's so windy and it doesn't stay latched very well. I get tired of it coming open and banging shut. It's a dump, but it's home.
Glad the Radiagel is giving you some relief.
Enerva, that bit about "he has two" is the truth!
Lily, give the Arimidex a chance. You never know how you will feel until you try it. My cousin takes it, and has just some mild stiffness in the morning, no other problems.
-
Jazzy, wow, that is like a calendar photo.

For those here looking for seasonal work (Life?), I got something on e-mail that Kohl's is now hiring for the holiday season. Just thought I would share in case you have one near you.

Lol jazz
Ok so last week I was on vacation but had to work on and off from home .
This Monday got an email of my boss s boss basically thanking me . Well is not much but it was nice to know he saw I did work and he cc my boss so at least I know he recognized my effort .
I am now on a bus on my way to pick up my car from the mechanic . I am supper tired and last night I was studying till late so I am not sure how many hours I ll be able to pull tonight.
Sending u all love and yaaaa me too I think Santa will have a better chance finding a dragon for all of us hahhahah
-
Id be ok with a dragon in lieu of lol Chit yea. Fly around from here to there to everywhere?! O ye
-
well I picked up my car. Ended up costing me $500 got lots repair
I decided to change my car in Jan .
I spoke to my nephew told him I need him to take my car. Booked some driving leason for him for this weekendand booked his driving exam for Dec 12 . If he pass I ll give my car to him and ll get another.
I was thinking I can't keep a car that every 6 months I have to repair. My nephew took auto mechanic at school and his father in law has a house with a garage so my nephew with the help of the Internet and also my brother from vzla can advise him so he can fix the car himself. Off course he has not done it for me but he ll do it for himself. That is what kids are for lol
I need him to have a car and improve himself
His wife is not working now cuz she is finishing her degree in accounting and that is the reason why he is not back at school .I wait for her to finish so I can get him to finish school.
I am happy I have done so much for him including his job now. I paid for his security course and now he is a manager at a condominium as head of security. He lives in the apt I had right in downtown Toronto with a very cheap rent and he works 300 meters from his apt so he is very confortable. I paid for his driving exam a year ago to get the 1rs license now I just paid for the exam for the 2nd one. Which ll alow him to get plates and get insurance for my car. Anyway I know it's a lot but he is all I have in this country .he is my beneficiary in all my insurance so if anything happens to me he ll be more than ok
He just married a woman who wants nothing to do with his family so I don't see much of him . But he is a good man .never drinks or smoke and he has been married 7 years now have no kids and to me is as if he is still my little brother. One of my sister had him and gave him to my mom when I was 10 so I grew up helping mom to rase him .we all did so he is just as if he is a brother. Anyway I am happy finally convinced him to get the license and once he has the car he ll no have any excuse he ll have to visit me once in a wile.
I must admit I miss him sometimes cuz I never thought that we could be so far even if he lives only 30 minutes away.
I will study some more tonight and tomorrow I ll be happy cuz the week ll be almost over.
Something interesting happened yesterday I stopped at a dealer just to inquire about cars and I sales man who showed me a few cars. Ended up flirting with me ha ha ha
Off course I thought oh please he just wants me to buy a car. But the guy stared asking me out to dinner lol then I asked him how old he was ?
He is 35 hahahhaha then I right away told him sorry he is too young. Well he told me he is divorced even worse I said and laugh . He then got offended and by the end of the conversation he asked me again to go out with him to dinner one day. I told him I could think about it and I walk away. Well the man send me an email today asking me about dinner. I very polite told him I am very busy and that I will let him know next week.
Now I am wondering what the hell was I thinking letting him know I was single lol that is no something I usually do.
Anyway it was nice to talk but again I am not looking for romance. So I don't think I ll meet him again.
I ll see how I feel about it next week.
So wierd
-
E- you have been so good to your nephew and here you are, so far from your family and him closer, but no contact. Very unfortunate about his wife taking over everything. I have had that in my family too. Well, you are helping him as you want to. Did you ever tell him about your bc or just not get into it due to the situation with the wife? Hugs sister.
Guy at the car place sounded like he wanted to date you more than to sell you a car! He sounds persistent. You could always agree to meet him for coffee vs. dinner if you don't want to spend an evening with him. He sounds like he wants you bad girlfriend! Go if it intrigues you?
I personally would like a red dragon, and I shall name him Puff......
-
jazz lol
Well I rather go to dinner cuz he is Greek lol n I love Greek food ha ha ha he said he could take me to a Greek restaurant he knows the food is really good. Lol hummm we will see if he keeps insisting ha ha ha
He seems to be a nice guy but too flirty and well let's say at this point I just smell trouble from far ha ha ha
I can't stand man that are too pushy as flattering as it is I am not the kind that ll agree to a date with someone who is a flirt lol
We shall see if he still wants to go on a date next week.
All I care about now is my exam
-
I think a purple dragon would be cool.
-
I want my dragon to be orange lol
Good morning hope today everybody has a better day. One more day and the week is over
-
I'd like to have a dragon like Eragon. Telepathic abilities so she (naturally) could read my thoughts of where I wanted to go next
E maybe just a quick Greek lunch? How else could one let one know they're interested without a bit of flirting? Sincere question. That's really cool that you're helping your nephew out. I'm not in touch with any of my nieces/nephews for one reason or another
Typically it's the adults I just don't get along with. Ex's family hates me and thinks everything is my fault. Always have (12yrs) always will.
Not going to work today. My under arm and under boob hurt something awful. More skin has given way and it burns haha
My long time friend E and I have reconnected. We use to sit at a mutual friends house for dinner and drinks and he would give me foot massages
Gave me a whole body massage one time - uh, fully clothed in the living room (I was plastered), felt so good! He behaved lol So did I. So he text last night and said if there is anything he can do for me and I'm like 'I NEED A MASSAGE!' Lmao and he replied to just let him know when.
Tummy ache woke me up in the middle of the night and ugh It's hitting again
Not sure what the deal is. No fever or sickness just one pissed off tummy. Brb

-
yes! So Jazzy! Fierce and confident
-
for Cubbie. This one looks like it could just glide through the air! Sophisticated and wise.
-
E's dragon. Waiting for her by the river
-
hm. Who am I missing? Wonder what color BB would like?
Hope all enjoy their day!
-
Simplicity- question, do they have a drape over your abdomen during rads? I just wonder if maybe the stomach got a touch of rads? I think you may have asked the docs about this, but you should tell them your stomach is bothering you.
One of the issues with external rads is the exposure of radiation to the chest wall (meaning heart and lungs). It was part of the reason I did internal rads because I have asthma and think the rads could have done permanent damage to my lungs.
Given the stomach is right below the chest wall, I just wonder? It could also be the stress of this whole horrible experience, a stomach bug, etc. I would bring it up because they need to know.
Hugs sister, this radiation stuff has been horrible for you.
-
Kind of. My gown. That's one of my frustrations I think I posted on my page. I asked if they do a scan after rads to check and make sure no vitals got knicked and they acted a bit offended. No. That's why we line you up before we begin and take all those X-rays.
They take X-rays every 5th treatment. I guess they'd see if their math was off there? It's not a diagnostic X-ray.
I had already finished by the time I saw this but I'll mention something tomorrow because I'm having a lot of BM's. A lot. They're normal (sorry if tmi), no diarrhea. But last night it woke me with a sharp pain to the gut and yep, had to have another BM. It might just be nerves too. I was already a pretty tightly wound person before this (amazingly my bp was 98/66 yesterday?). A bit lower than norm but not by much. Anyway, I a, so these and catch my self very often all tensed up and kind of have to...release? Lower the shoulders, let the legs relax completely.
Ah. Going to try to relax today despite my house being a bit messy
Get the kids to clean a bit after homework today. That's always fun (sarcasm).
-
lol Bb
Here another good 1
-
BB- good luck with applying for the jobs. I definitely think easing in PT is the way to go. It is what I will be doing with my new work.
I dated a man from Afghanistan for awhile. I met him a few years after I moved here. I never thought I would date anyone from the Middle East, mostly because of their cultural views about women, but he was more progressive. His father was a general in the Afghan Army and the family was driven out of the country when Russia invaded in the 1980s. They were living all over the world.
I never knew anything about Afghanistan, but it sounded like a progressive place before the Russian invasion. Lots of universities where women could go to college, good healthcare, etc. When the war moved in to that country back then, everything got destroyed and then the Taliban took a foothold through the years. That is when things got worse for the women too. It helped me to understand so much better when things started happening after 911. I feel for the people of that country (along with the Syrians and everyone else in war torn countries). The women and children are impacted the most.
