mild-moderate pain with expander 3 months after rads

I had a mastectomy in mid-April along with an expander put in. I finished expansion to 415 ccs in July and finished rads in mid-August. Lately (the past week or so) I have had some pain in the area again. . .I've always had to take an Aleve off and on, prob 2-3 a week, but now I am back to at least one every day and two days ago I had a moderate pain 'surge' for a few minutes without even touching it. Is this normal or is it something I need to go in and talk about. No fever, and no redness. Do I talk to my PS or my BS? I'm not suppose to see either again until January.

    Mother, you can always call and talk to the nurse, I find that to be helpful to let her give me some input. I do know that for months after recon there are nerve endings that are connecting and reconnecting...and it sounds like this might the case. Zingers and twinges go on for months...but again, never hesitate to call your team with questions, they are there for you.
