Has anyone tried Essiac Tea? One of the early remedies for cancer.

I was stage 3 as well. I went through all the treatment and am on anastrazole. It is much better than tamoxifen in terms of effects. Why not try it. You can always go off it. I also believe in alternative treatments as supplements. Peace and luck no matter what you decide.

Hi Marijen, sorry, I don't have any special cancer insurance, just my husbands insurance which covers everything, except Naturopaths, massage therapy, acupuncture and all the other helpful things Itried like chiropractic care. Wish I did have yhatkind of insurance for the extra bits. The uncovered things are costing me a fortune in the past 3 years since this misery began.

Hi Roseio, well I used to have Migraine headaches for years with my period. I would be slightly nausous, light sensitive for 1 to 3 days every month. I ran across this woman at our local outdoor pool, flinching in bright sunlight with a Migraine. She recommended her Chinese Accupuncturist. I went several times over the next few weeks and she completely got rid of my migraine headaches. I don't get them anymore , except a garden variety headache 2 or 3 times per year. That was enough to convince me the ancient Chinese knew what they were doing. Western med rarely suceeds in curing a long time, chronic condition like migraines.

    Thanks Macb

My brother believes in alternative medicine and said I should go for acupuncture. I went once because I was so anxious to start chemo ( I was a basket case) and her treatment did relax me. I do believe it works but not sure what to ask her to do. Glad to hear that it has helped you with your migraines. I know they can be miserable.

Thanks Roseio, acupuncture was helpful for my migraines, that is just one thing that it could help someone with. I know of people who have gone for pain issues, anxiety, depression and sleep problems.
