I really need someone's help asap please.

My uncle has stage IV lung/brain/bone/stomach cancer.

He's currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment. We need to know if it's safe for him to start RSO treatment with the chemotherapy drugs (Carboplatin, Gemcitabine) he's taking now.

His state is critical. Can someone please help. Is it safe to use RSO with the chemo drugs he's on now

Strafar, we are very sorry to hear about what your uncle is going through. Unfortunately, this is not something that we can help with here in our community. We are a breast cancer site, and the information you are requesting can really only come from medical experts. We are sorry we cannot help.

Hi Sarafar. I'm so sorry to hear about your uncle. I would consult with a naturopathic oncologist or a family physician on the matter, but my instinct says no...do not do both together. Either one of the treatments on their own are pretty rough and he sounds quite sick. The RSO protocol is pretty intense. Perhaps your uncle could benefit from a proper strain of medical marijuana to ease the pain and side effects if he continues with the chemotherapy treatments, though. I have no medical expertise, but thought I'd share my experience. I would have been unable to do both at the same time. Hugs to your uncle and to you.

I'm hoping I'm not too late to join in your conversation. but a place you might go for help with the combination of RSO AND western medicine might be anything to do with Tommy Chong.

If you're too young to remember, Tommy was part of the comedy team Cheech and Chong... Tommy developed cancer and went with RSO treatment, combined with chemo... he's done a couple of interviews, and is pretty open about the results.

I just found methods to make small batch RSO- on YouTube .http://www.realfarmacy.com/amazing-lung-cancer-cure-using-back-door-cannabis-oil/

I'm using RSO- after finding I was metastatic, and the option the oncologist in the hospital gave me was radiation. The Metastasis is in my spine... and since my spinal chord is inside those vertebrae, I don't see how one avoids becoming bed-bound, and I'm not ready for that. After one dose of RSO, I was able to use it, rather than the morphine for pain relief. I got off easy- but I had only used it for ten weeks. There are discussions of using RSO for substituting one's pain meds- because you'll lose the opioid side effects, I recommend switching over as soon as is feasible for the patient.

I don't ingest orally- I'm one of the rare individuals that does not enjoy the psychoactive effect of MM, and the RSO is concentrated product- so it isn't easier to take. I make "suppositories" and experience NO psychoactive effect at all. I am not at the 'therapeutic' anti-cancer dose yet. the regimen requires at least 60 days of 1gm. per day to kill the cancer. I've read of other folks maintaining the regimen for up to 9 months... was their cancer stubborn? Unique? Resistant? Don't know. And-- frankly, came here looking for other folks who might have answers... just like you.

Do keep looking- My particular cancer is Breast Cancer... but I believe, If you spend some time at Rick Simpson's site... http://www.cureyourowncancer.org/

you will find many cancers are treated with RSO, and I haven't found a disclaimer that suggested there was a cancer it didn't treat.

Finding a "MM" friendly physician may prove difficult. If you are not located in an area where MM is available, finding sources is going to be tougher yet. I discovered- through the video at the end of the article first mentioned... the higher the 'grade' of resin in the MM you use, the more "RSO" per ounce... average? 4 gm. per ounce of dry herb. It is pricey-- the best bet is to grow your own... Modern grow techniques promise a pound of product per plant, if you can get it to flower for 9-12 weeks... and that requires a bit of expertise. At my local dispensary? $50 each gram.

    Good luck-
