Very sad indeed. First time I saw it was in 2001 when I went to visit DS in Japan. His future wife lent us the DVD and I cried. DS told me Toko cries every time she sees it.

kt1, I'm stumped.
(Son has been in Japan since 1999. Went over in the JET program to teach English with the intention of staying just a year. Lives in northeastern area of the main island. His city is a port on the Pacific. One of the first pictures I saw on the internet after the tsunami was his city. They are a four hour drive north of Sendai which is extremely close to Fukushima.)

I'm so glad he was ok. That tsunami was terrible.
The movie has romance, comedy and suspense & is set in nazi occupied France. I won't tell what it is for a bit in case someone can guess!(?)
