That's the best word I could come up with today as a write this, ladies. I need your prayers😌 The good news is, I met this awesome guy about five weeks ago, and we have really hit it off. The sex is amazing (don't judge). The bad news is, I'm experiencing heavy bleeding. I never had my ovaries out, and when this happened once before, two years ago, they did an ultrasound and found nothing and it went away. This time, I figured it might be an extended period again at first (with approaching menopause), plus the experience of not having sex for seven years. But, it is not going away, so I'm off to get an ultrasound and bloodwork this morning (sigh). Can you believe it? I'm praying for a pelvic infection. Prayers, please!

Spunkygirl, I bet it's not a pelvic infection. I went through the same thing during my perimenopause days--bled so heavy I got anemic. Back then, they treated it with heavy doses of hormones, but with your history I doubt if that's a great idea. I hear of friends being treated with a uterine ablation, to back off the uterine lining that's building up and bleeding profusely. So sorry you're managing THIS with a wonderful new relationship going on!

I second Linda K--enjoy the heck out of this new relationship. You have been through so much in addition to breast cancer. You have always been one of my heroes on our Stage 3 because you are so...well..spunky!

    Admiring you from afar, Weesa

Linda and Weesa, you rock! About this guy, he seems too good to be true. I keep telling myself that if it falls apart, I at least got laid😊. Losing my husband and going through cancer has made me feel like there are no happy endings, even though I'm a ver upbeat person despite feeling that way. Make sense? I'll keep you all posted. I hope you are all doing fantastic

    Hey Spunky Girl,

I've gone through the heavy bleeding a few times now. My gyn has done two endometrial lining biopsies and thankfully they both turned out negative for cancer. I had my hormone levels checked thinking I may have been peri menopausal and I'm not. It's really annoying basically having a super period like once a year!

I'm hopeful your tests will come out normal and am so happy for your good health and happiness!

    Hugs,

    Lexi

I'm sorry that I'm just letting you all know what's going on with me. Thank you for all the prayers...they worked! I guess I'm in the same boat with Lexi. I get a super period, and the follow up ultrasounds show no issues whatsoever! Woo hoo! And this guy I have now is a blessing:). I'm introducing him to my kids this weekend. I am so thankful and grateful!
