hello

I just got results from a VABB and have FEA din 1 with columnar cell change. I need to have surgical excision. I was told this is not cancer. I was researching today and read this is often associated with cancer upon excision and am scared. Any experience with this. Also four years ago I had surgical excision on other breast due to microcalcifications with benign results.

    I had this too recently . It was not cancer rather what they found Union excisional biopsy is ADH. Not good but not cancer at this time. They do the excision to make sure that there is no cancer upgrade at the site. My surgeon suggested that the chances for upgrade to cancer at the immediate site were generally 15% so not that high. Keep us posted.

    I appreciate your reply. I am glad everything is ok with yours. 15% still seems kind of high. I have appt. with surgeon one week from today. Will keep you posted. Thanks again.
