Second Opinion?

Hi. I am a 35 year old female. I noticed nipple inversion about a month and a half ago and behind the nipple it felt as if all the tissue had been pulled away and no longer exists behind the nipple. I scheduled an appt with the my primary Dr. She also felt that it was not normal and felt a few lumps. I was then scheduled for an ultrasound. They didn't see anything on the ultrasound but felt it would be a good idea to do a mammogram. Mammogram showed I had extremely dense breast tissue. Bi-Rads 0. They then sent me for an MRI. MRI "lit up" showing in center of the right breast a 6mm X 3mm abnormal enhancement. And also a 4mm X 2mm at 6 o'clock. On the left breast there are two 2.5cm regions. Also on the right breast on the MRI the nipple and skin "lit up' as well. They said the lesions do not particularly have a neoplastic appearance.

So with all that being said they want to wait 3-6 months an repeat the MRI because they are not sure what it is. I am in a location where medical care is not the greatest. Has anyone had something similar happen to them? Should I try and get a second opinion. With that being said I would have to fly about 12 hours to get somewhere else for a a second opinion.

Sorry for a long post. Thank you so much!

    Kay,
Sorry your here but a good place to be. I think you should definitely get a second opinion! Everyone is unique here and no two cancers are exactly the same. You may also want to get a biopsy. If it's benign it's benign. Take care!
