You don't need to wear a sleeve in pool because being in the pool acts like you are wearing one. I just had a professional Aqua teacher for LE that had me in their class remove our sleeves before we started. We measured before we started and measured after and I was smaller...yeah... She designed the program and is a PT that lives in Israel. I believe she even had the cancer institute study her exercises. Sleeve off for me! I will be ordering her DVD

I just had a professional Aqua teacher named dorit tidhar that did a demo on Aqua for LE with a group of us LE girls. she had us remove our sleeves before we entered the water. She actually designed a special program and if I am right she even had national cancer institute do a study on it. We measured before and after the aqua exercises and I was smaller...yeah

I just attended a sample class by Dorit Tidhar who developed the tidhar method for aqua exercise for LE.she had us remove our sleeves, gloves. We measured before and after and I was smaller coming out of the pool! I believe she even had study's done at the national cancer institute. Her method works. No sleeve for me as she says. She is a PT with a whole bunch of credientials in the study of exercise.I will be ordering her DVD.

See my new thread on it.

Hi Ladies.. ive got a bit of news re my sleeve here.. and re sleeve in pool hmm i thought u were not to get it wet ?

well I finally got a Jobst sleeve so am trying this out.. at least it does not have that band of silicone which really gave me a rash i tried for near 30 days.. and it just did not let up.. so, this makes the inside of my elbow a bit red but u have to expect some s/e i did put a bit of baking soda there.. but the sleeve does help i can not wear it all day however

a small tidbit, they kept up with this nasty attitudde re taking back the sleeve

and I told them they should nto be reselling a sleeve anyway

i spoke to Juzo who do take sleeve back after 30 days and Jobst told me 3 months! will change the

fitter for the next time but have to redo all the forms

i go to bed earlier now and rest the arm more

course im liklier a lot older than you gals here but it does help

    wishing you best with this

    and your Cancer journey

i do have a bit of trouble putting it on as have arty in my fingers

so the rubber glove is a bit tight .. anyway colder weather makes arty worse for me

    one day at a time

    Sierra :)

    tks again

    great forum!

Sierra, someones probably already mentioned but just a reminder that gloves and sleeves do need to be "broken in". I find too that my jobst will give me a red mark on inside of elbow especially when new. These typically will get less as the garments are "broken in".

As far as doning, just take care not to slug yourself in the jaw/chin/eye and other facial parts. Some time ago I gave myself a fat lip doing this crazy stuff.

Light to all.. I use the baking soda lightly and it helped Sierra ;)
