Throat and chest pain from anesthesia

I had a partial mastectomy with a reduction yesterday. I am a little sore from the surgery, but my real source of pain is my throat and chest, and I have a cough.did any of you ladies experience this? Is it something to call my doctor about, or is it normal? Thanks, Patty

Did you have a breathing tube during surgery? That will often cause a day or two of the symptoms you describe.

My surgery was yesterday and I'm having the same problem. Also a little hoarst. Drinking a lot of fluids and ice chips is helping. A small pillow held against the chest helps when coughing.
