Yes I am using it. I did 5 years on Femara and then decided to go on to Tamoxifen for another 5 years or so. My onc and I also decided that it would be safer for me to try Vagifem after switching because if any extra estrogen found its way into my system (which highly unlikely!) the Tamoxifen would block it. It has made a huge difference in my QOL! I was getting almost constant UTI's and intimacy was torture. Now the UTI's are gone and there is much improvement in other areas as well. I started off using it 2 to 3 times a week until things improved and now I am down to using it just once a week and that seems to work fine.

All I can say is it is definitely worth a try, I think you will like it!

Have a look at this article. I got a prescription from my gyno and it truly helps. My pathology was so strongly ER+ I'd be nervous about putting any kind of estrogen into my system. But everyone's different!

I just started this about four weeks ago and I couldn't be happier!! We are back to a normal sex life!

The surgeon who took my ovaries out recommended it. As far as the estrogen, he explained it like this: nail polish is poisonous too - if you drink it. But if you put it on your fingernails, it is perfectly safe.

So - my prescription was every day for two weeks and then twice a week after that. That was what my surgeon had recommended. I waited until after the two weeks to "try" having sex again as I was hoping for a pleasant experience - and it was:)
