Wednesday Weigh In
Comments

Lets ALL be good this week!
-
Peggy, I'd like to be around 150-155 as well so let today be the first of the rest of our life (it is!) and go from there. I have about 15 lbs. to go. We can do this.
-
I'm 12 lbs away from the target my nutritionist recommended (155 at 5 ft. 1 so it's a preliminary goal). Using MyFitnessPal.com has helped me lose so far by tracking my food.
To a good week for us all and welcome Peggy!
-
My goal is 150 to 155, too! This morning I was 164.5 so 10 lbs would get me into the range. I'm hoping for better blood work numbers like those I had when I was in the lower weight range.
-
we seem to have a magic target range for this group
-
And, we can do it!
-
Yes, we can!
-
I have been super-good today & am posting now so that I do not have a midnight snack! Maybe we need a DAILY check-in?
-
What do you know, no midnight snacking and down a pound!
-
Ruth Bru, Just read a scientific article in summary form that showed that people who weighed themselves daily lost 20 per cent more weight than those that did not. So while we're weekly here, I am going to weigh myself daily and report on Wednesday like everyone else.
Also struggling with insomnia, which doesn't help at all.
Anyway, today is 180.4. Hoping for a better Wednesday next week.
Patoo--thanks for responding. You're ahead of me so I'll use that as a motivator.
Hugs,
Peggy
-
I'm up one pound from the last time I checked in.
-
I'm up one to 133. You would think I would know better than buy halloween candy that I like. I got 2 bags and I only like one of them, so I'll be free soon. Give them away you say? Not a chance.
-
Stayed the same again and going out for a meal with friends tomorrow. Not sure I will ever achieve my goal weight!
-
NessyN, wrong attitude. Say 'going out for a meal with friends tomorrow and will try and make good choices or will only eat half my meal and take the other half home.' Not likely to happan? Okay, then have fun, exercise it off if you can and move on with the rest of your life. We are non-judgmental and offer support for the next week!
Down 2 lbs (166.2). My sister finally arrived and for some reason I eat less with her around (maybe I don't want to look like a glutton?) We are settling in so hopefully my exercise routine will also get back to some sense of normalcy.
-
Patoo well done for weight loss. I usually do better when my sister visits too. I will enjoy my meal out and get back to plan the following day. ☺
-
I do TERRIBLE when my sister visits (they don't have good Mexican food where she lives and we do....yikes!! She is still trying to figure out how to smuggle large quanities of hot sauce on to a plane!).
-
Stayed even this week so looks like I'll need to tighten things up a bit. Going away for hubs birthday is gonna make it tough. But we're tough right??!!
-
Reader - Absolutely!
-
I don't have a sister. Looks like I'm doomed! hee hee.
I weighed last Thursday so I decided to weigh this morning. I am exactly the same to the 10th of a pound How does that happen, not up .1 pound or down .1 pound? I suppose for Halloween week that is not too bad but I hope to drop next week.
I'm all for a daily check-in myself. Today I did well but I was still hungry after dinner and did eat two halloween candies. I'm going to send the rest with my husband to work tomorrow. He has a young staff who can eat it and enjoy it.
-
TwoHobbies, I'll be your 'cybersister'! And, the trick is to send the leftover candy to hubby's work the day after halloween, not 6 days later.
-
Thanks, Patoo. Keep me in line, sis! Of course husband forgot to take candy to work! i do want to go back to a stricter diet because it helps me so much when I'm in the groove.
-
Ok, I'm watching you. Tell DH to hide the candy in the car or garage or attic or somewhere until he goes back to work.
-
Down 1 pound
-
I got 'in the zone' this week & am down two!
-
Up 1.5 to 134.5.
-
Did I miss last week - looks like it. Was down then and now back up to 168. Blame on my brother being here for a week and all the eating out. Next week you will see less of me.
-
Haven't weighed myself in a month! Mostly because I was eating non-stop. Now I've gotten my act together and am down half a kilo from a month ago. No idea where I peaked but not complaining.
-
stayed the same, let's enjoy Thanksgiving (and Friday to eat leftovers) and then get back on it!
-
Forgot to post yesterday but was down about 2 lbs. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
-
I've been struggling due to a birthday party and was up 1.2lbs but I'm sure it will be worse for a few days. I already ate two pieces of pumpkin pie last night. I'll let myself have a couple of days and then I'm going to pumpkin pie rehab!
