LE conference this weekend Vancouver BC
I will be attending this one day conference this Saturday. About one hundred will attend which is small but then we may have a better opportunity to ask questions.
They will have a nutrition segment on LE. This really interest me. I can't remember all the speakers but Stanley Rockson I think will be there and a bunch of top notch LE people.
What questions do you want me to ask? Whoooo hoo!

This is exciting! I would love to know about any nutritional recommendations,, or any supplements that are recommended.
And I read your post about the Tidhar method,,, how can we learn about it? Is there a DVD?? I doubt there are classes in my little town.
Can't wait to hear your report.
-
I don't think there is a video out, it is a very special class and the teachers are PT and massage and lymphedema drainage people. Dang. Try googling tidhar method?
I think the Europeans use horse chestnut supplement for swelling but am not sure. Also not sure if there were study's on it. Try googling it.

Why has science NOT invented teleporters, so that I could get to Vancouver for the weekend???
-
hugz: I went to her webpage and looked around. There is an article, #6, that is in Finnish. Tessu lives in Finland. Maybe we can get her to read it and summarize???
http://www.aqua-lymphatic-therapy.com/news.html Article #6 by Martin Sarret.
I'm going to show her info to my LE therapist today,,, see if she has ever heard of her.
I've never been to Montreal,,, hmmmm,,,,, road trip??

Glennie. Good detective work. I may order the DVD then. This exercise was so different. Dorit definately knows what she is doing. A true pioneer in this type of exercise. Nice to see some of the exercises I did too! She has two classes one for upper and more for lower body. Thx Sherlock Holmes

Now if I only had a heated pool,,,,,

Dang I thought Dorit would be at the conference as she was in town at the same time but sadly she has gone back to Israel. So glad I got to see what she is all about
-
Glad you got to see her too.

For the aqua exercise article in Finnish, try searching here in BCO under the member name Nitocris. She lives in Finland and may well have posted an English version here. She posted a lot of exercise resources some time back. (Not able to search myself at the moment, sorry)
-
...and if nitocris did not post it that article in English, she's a friend in 'real' life and I can ask her in a day or so if she has the article and any related information in English.
