probably just radiation - thoughts on reoccurrence and use of tamoxifen and other hormonal drugs

after reading some horror stories about these drugs, I find them as frightening as not taking them

    Well I hope I don't have any permanent se's from exemestane. The ear ringing is my concern. No bone loss, eyes ok, hair fine. I have some minor joint pain and stiffness. 1.5 years to go. I never had tamoxifen that I was nervous about. I didn't need radiation. All my surgeries went well.

    I read too many things on line. STOP!! I Scared myself. Waiting for my onco test. On arimidex and will start radiation next week, my choice. Good luck to you

    Definitely it is worth trying Tamoxifen or Arimidex (or whatever is prescribed). Each of us is affected differently and you can always try something different or stop if it affects your quality of life. I had problems with Arimidex but have handled Tamoxifen without many side effects.
