Can someone re-post the info on the oven cleaner...too lazy to go back and try to find it....I have a double oven, but only one is self-cleaning and I don't use it as the last time I did, it blew something in the oven and had to get it repaired...all was okay just inconvenient.
Time to go for my evening walk...I'm NOT liking the shorter days...its dark in the morning before work and then in the evening!!! At least it will be light for awhile in the mornings after the time change, but will be getting dark when I leave work at 4!!!

karen1956, see ruthbru's post above on this page - Professional Grade Easy Off.
Night all.

missed seeing the gals who visited our group. Today's San Diego lunch bunch. PS I told CherylHB that she
seems to get all the good looking young guys...
-
Well as you can see I went down to San Diego today to have lunch with the San Diego ladies, but I left my house at 6.30am and went to a gym down there and did a Body Combat class (yes with another of those cute young guys I seem to find) had a little time to kill between end of class and lunch so went to Starbucks, then stopped at the outlet mall in Carlsbad on my way home and picked up a pair of Reebok shoes, a pair of Merrell shoes, a nice top at Chicos, some new underwear at Jockey and a new gym bag at Puma, I had to leave cause I couldn't carry any morethen I stopped and visited with my friend who is now out of hospital but laying flat on her back and is only allowed to sit up for 20minutes a day while her stitches heal, she had spine surgery but it was done through her stomach so her organs were moved around, she is very very sore.
Welcome marymallett so glad you found us. Badger welcome back you know we missed you, I hope your poor dust bunnies found a new home Beautiful picture TH. Claire when those repairs come along they always seem to happen at once. Karen with it staying dark in the morning I am sleeping in a little later so I like that but I know what you mean. Lovely picture Patoo, Ruth thanks for the tip on the oven cleaner one day I'll get around to cleaning the oven, I put a sheet of foil on the bottom to catch the crud, not that I seem to use it much these days I usually light up the BBQ.
-
Badger - having just moved earlier this year, you have my sympathies!!! It's such a process, but it's so nice once you get settled in the new house. Will your commute be any better in the new place? Great picture, Patoo and Sunshine. Patoo - you really have the Florida resident look down already. Badger's right - retirement absolutely agrees with you! Two - beautiful picture!! SoCal - love the brunch gals picture. Claire - good to get all those little bicycle things done so you're as safe as can be.
Welcome Mary! Always good to have another Mary on board!
We were up at the cabin this weekend, and the fall colors were pretty much at peak. The 5K race for the draft horse rescue was wonderful. The horses were big and beautiful, and so friendly. The trail went all around the farm, through some woods, and next to different paddocks where the horses are. At one point during the run a few of them spotted me and decided to run alongside me on their side of the fence for a bit - just for fun, I guess. They were lovely.
Here's me with a new friend:
Here's DH with a new friend of his:
Here's a view of the farm with a few of the horses:
And here's our cabin in woods with the fall colors all around us. I hated to come home!!

Beautiful pictures, Outrunning and Nats. Love your new horsey friends! Gorgeous animals!
Here's my Easy Off report. I couldn't find the Professional Grade (which DS said he ordered online), but used the Heavy Duty Easy Off last night (which did have fumes). OMG, I took a wet paper towel this morning and gently swished it around & my oven has never, ever looked cleaner. I can not believe it.......happiness!
Went to yoga this morning & will do zumba tonight. I am going to run over to school now and talk to a 7th grade Science teacher. I am subbing for her tomorrow and would like to have a vague idea of the subject matter!
Burr, suddenly it is cold around here!
-
Thanks. Lynn and I had a fun 3 days. We wore eachother out (in a good way).
Water aerobics this morning. Leaving now to take a walk along the lake. I like it but would love an area like NatsFan described. Will have to find one, one day, but will have to be outside of The Villages since there are no forests here (hmmm, wonder if they are afraid we seniors may not be able to find out way out).
Later sculpted friends.

Wonderful photos everyone, really nice. Badger, good to see you posting and all my best for your move. Mary, your cabin looks so peaceful and welcome to our new Mary!
Cheryl, you can't see me yet the woman in the red, the big guy behind her I'm behind him. It was interesting and did both release 71 & 72. Also did Body Vive filming which did not go a smooth as BB. Was able to hook up with friend Ann on Friday and she showed me the old town, many of the main historical sights to see, had a delicious dinner of elk in a chanterelle mushroom sauce. We have much in common both have 16 year old sons and we are American expats who have lived abroad for about the same length of time (nearly 20 years).Could only fit in one museum and choose Fotografiska, the well known centre for contemporary photography. The most touching were haunting, large images of where the children fleeing from the Syrian war and the terror of IS, when the night falls. Photographer Magnus Wennman captured the pain and lost sense in hollow eyed child refugees. Very difficult to view, yet so strong and moving. The weather was sunny and fresh and Swedes I've learned are terrible at queuing. They bunch up and lack personal space like the French. Funnily enough, darling husband is off to Stockholm (for the 1st. time) this Thursday on business, so Sweden is a recurring theme for both of us. Exhausted and now studying/working on course work like mad.
-
Ha Ha......had to laugh! Yes, Phyllis, you would not find your way out of the forest......and I would be right there with you!
-
10/26- nice end of the day walk for 30 min around the neighborhood. Gosh it is getting dark so early. I have to remember to leave earlier next time. For US folks, DLS change this Sunday!
Love all the pics! Horses, plus the group pic from SoCalLisa!
-
mysunshine, you don't have to let on that we got most of our steps in walking around trying to find out where I parked the car!
-
Hi everyone I had a nice brisk 30 minute walk in the October chill this afternoon. Lovely.
Enjoyed everyone's pictures.
-
Phyllis, LOL! We DID have fun! Thank you!

Entering one of our three busiest months at work next week and eyes are burning from hay fever. Trying to get into eye doc today but no time to miss a whole work day.
I need my workouts now more than ever. Guess I've finally become a gym rat.
Patoo and my sunshine. . .If I had my Fitbit for all the times I forgot where I parked my car. . .LOL
Scottie
-
Patoo and Sunshine - wandering around looking for the car must be a specialty of the Sculpted Sisters - just ask Badger how much time we spent wandering around BWI airport last year trying to find where I'd parked the car!
Scottie - I'm so sorry about the hay fever. I used to have horrible hay fever every year so I know how you feel. But ever since chemo, my hay fever is gone. My MO said she's seen it happen a few times with other patients - apparently chemo can whap the immune system so hard that it can act like a reboot in some people. When I tell hay fevered friends that I've found the cure, for some reason none of them wants to go that route . . .

Enjoying reading about everyone's adventures. My life has been quite dull recently, but I am going to the Opera tomorrow evening and most likely doing a graveyard ride on Saturday.
A co-worker and I at the nonprofit were given flowers yesterday morning. They sell bouquets like these in the markets here, and don't cost the earth. So very cheerful around here at the moment.
Wishing everyone a wonderful day. - Claire

Beautiful pictures ladies!
After catching up on this thread, I'm motivated to clean my oven too
Thanks for the great tip!
Yesterday was Pilates and today I did Orange Theory. I haven't done OT since August right before my BMX. Oh, how I've missed it!
-
Nats. . .LOL! Thanks I needed some humor. My eye doctor said the inflamed eye was stress related. YOU THINK! Nothing a couple of weeks of steroid eye drops won't cure, but I doubt I can cut the stress out of my life no matter how much I exercise to get over it.
Off I go to PT which will have to suffice as my exercise today. I just too tired.

Spent the day in the wonderful world of Multi-cellular Organisms, had an appointment with the eye doctor after school, and an upcoming meeting at 7:00.......I am thinking that I might sit here and do nothing until then!
-
I wish so much chemo had altered my allergies and sinus problems. No such luck.
Pretty pictures ladies. I love the fall colors and bouquets of flowers and horses all good things
I walked 25 minutes at lunch and 20 after before it started to rain. I definitely notice the shorter days too.
-
Catching up after about a week or so since I was MIA due to a crazy busy schedule. Welcome to all the newcomers and hope everyone under the weather is on the mend now. Love all the photos.
I have been exercising as usual , bootcamp Mon, Tues and Thursday with walk/run on the treadmill Wed nights and elliptical on Fridays. Congrats on the home sale Badger. Don't envy the cleaning, packing and moving. Spent Saturday moving boxes from a storage space to my MIL' s new inlaw suite at DSIL' s house. Mary, still love the cabin in the woods.
Lilacblue, hope you get a chance to rejuvenate and restore. Bootcamp tonight was really tough so I am barely able to keep my eyes open.
Sending love and hugs to all. Off to bed for Bonzo.......
**Edited to ask about the oven cleaner. Can you use that on self cleaning ovens without compromising the self cleaning feature?
-
Ruth I totally didn't read that as Multi-cellular organisms at first. And I thought "wow this is going to be a good story😊
I have to read backwards to catch up on all the rest.
Did just 20 minutes or strength training yesterday and ran 2.5 miles today.
But lots of energy expended running a Daisy Girl Scout meeting last night and Pack meeting tonight. Those must count for something.
-
Ha, outrunning. I think that's what you wanted to read. I've heard of multiples but can't say I've heard of multi cellulars.
Im going with Cheryl on the foil in the oven. I smoked up an entire house using the self cleaning oven when an enterprising mouse stole and hid some almonds down below the electric coils. I use foil and clean up drips right away because I'm afraid to use it.
-
I think they may cover that sort of thing MUCH later in the book!
My oven is self-cleaning but I used the spray anyway because the door, edges etc. never have gotten really clean when I use it (but it's an old oven so maybe new ones do a better job).
We are walking outside tomorrow and it is going to be really, really cold. Blah!!
Now I'm of to bed to dream about Multi-cellular organisms
-
No walk tonight
waited for gf to come over....then too late when she left. Now waiting for DD to get home...should walk around house to get steps in......but don't know if I can be bothere...but didn't even get 12K today!!!
-
Mary gorgeous photos. Speaking of allergies, Patoo how are yours doing in Florida? Odie good to see you.sounds like you plate has been full. LB trust me to find a picture and you're hidden!!! I signed up today to go to a quarterly in Seattle in November, guess I'm a Les Mills groupie
Last night did Grit Cardio at one gym then to another to do Zumba, and tonight went to a 'Party in Pink' danceathon comprising of a 90 minute dance mash up of Body Jam Zumba and U Jam.
-
2.5 mile track run last night instead of our normal 5 miles - they're tapering us in preparation for our 10K goal race on Sunday so we're fresh and ready to go (or at least that's the theory).
-
Here we are walking in the cold. Either we are all getting 'floaters' or we saw some snowflakes in the air!
-
Great pic ruthbru. Not gonna miss snowflakes. hbcheryl, so far no problem with allergies. In NJ I would have had to start taking meds for it last month. My sister is now here and her furniture arrived today so will be doing some unpack and sculpt for a few days (weeks?).
-
Glad to hear Patoo, you really used to suffer with those danged allergies. Ruth great photo - on the news just now the weather person just said it's cooling down, its 79 yup still in flip flops and sleeveless tops, I think all my sweaters have moth holes in them
