I had a galactogram and biopsy on my left breast and a biopsy on my right breast. Had this done at a breast clinic. The galactogram went smoothly.the discharge continued so there was no problem getting into the duct and getting the contrast in. It did not hurt at all. I did feel the contrast tinge a bit but not painful at all. Then we proceeded to the mammogram and then ultra sound. There was a small tumor in duct. Hoping it is a papilloma. the dr said the only way to be sure is to do a biopsy. So then I had a needle core biopsy on the left breast. Barely felt the numbing shot and in no time it was over. Then the doctor proceeded to do the biopsy on my right breast.i have a very small spot that grew in just 5 months. There was no pain at all .I will get the results on Wednesday.I am resting and icing my breast today. I mainly wanted to let others know that these procedures were not painful. I had myself so nervous over it. Also it helps that I was at a Breast Center where I felt comfortable. My stomach is so upset. Feel very nauseous. All I can do now is wait for the results and pray.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am scheduled for a core needle biopsy next week and have been VERY fearful of the pain. Reading how well yours went has helped to calm me some.
