Interesting. I breastfed my first daughter and had mastitis really bad at one point (cancer side). I then had my second daughter 18-months later and also had issues with breastfeeding. I tried to use one of those breast milk pumps, but it literally got stuck on my left breast (embarrassing, but true) and it would not come off no matter what I tried. I was laughing and crying at the same time, it hurt so bad. So I switched to bottle feeding. I know it's sounds stupid, but I always thought that perhaps I got BC from the trauma I had with the breast pump. Oh yes, and to respond to the poll, I'm 5'4".

5'4". Minor family history on my father's side (grandmother dx age 66). No known genetic mutations. Lifelong vegetarian, literally. Never smoked. Social drinker. Slightly overweight at 145 lbs. Age 31. Never pregnant or breastfed (didn't get the chance). Lump was right above my right nipple, sort of an unusual area.

My parents were health nuts growing up. All organic before it was cool. Lot of good it did me.
