Here is a photo of a painting of a photo.
My poor fuzzy shot (disposable camera) of my watercolour inspired by a photo that is from another BCO sister, Tomboy (Kathe in Los Angeles). It is Central Park. You get two of us for the price of one.
Here is the original photograph by Tomboy:

Beautiful OncoWarrior!
-
Wow, Onco. Very nice!!!
-
Thank you, dears, feline and lover. I could not have done it without Tomboy.
Let's hear it for her, too.
Yeaaaaaa!
-
Yes, Tomboy has good eyes for a beautiful picture.

Since my diagnosis and treatment one year ago, I have shown (for the first time) some graphite sketches and photographs in local art exhibits here in St. Louis. This sketch is entitled "Rescued".
-
Here is a photo I took this week of the Drum Bridge in the lovely Japanese Garden, part of St. Louis' gorgeous Missouri Botanical Garden.
-
Wow I am so enjoying seeing everyone's eye for beauty and acts of creativity..this is a wonderful thread!
Yes Onco quite right - cheers for TomBoy.
-
Morning Jo! Beautiful work! Good to see you!
-
I am enjoying this thread so much and seeing everyone's beautiful creations.
-
Alpineartist, those are amazing. You have some mad skills! Every time I try to enlarge them, it gets blurry so I can't tell what it is....acrylic, oil, conte? What size are they?
-
I love to do "crafts" but I am not an "Artist" at all.... I glued one of my crochet scarves around a lampshade tot this little lamp...
-
Oh WOW! Did you use stencils? I "ragged" my walls, and I thought THAT was good.... but didn't make a design.... turned out very well though!
-
Such beautiful work, all. Really enjoying the wide variety of talents.

Nice JOB Jo and Rose! I always get ideas from looking at pictures! I want to paint my back door.... And I look at Google Images, and some of those are just BEAUTIFUL!....
Yes, ragging is fun! But I did sections.... not the whole living/dining room at once.... I had taken off dark wood paneling that I had put up... so I had to fill the "holes" and then paint a white base coat first... I won't do it over.... just because I still like it...even after 20 years!
-
Ragging walls...
Not my walls.... but I like the larger pattern!
And this looks elegant!
-
OMG! Look at THIS one!
-
Glass painted ornaments are now in demand......have done 40+ since September.
-
Gla
ss ornaments are busily being completed. Christmas is not far away at this house.
-
-
nice work JO5. I need to try that with mine
-
Yes Jo.... I love the embroidery! My Dad used to do those embroidery pillows... AND the paint-by-number... do any of you remember those?
And the "latch-hook" rugs we made with yarn, onto a design?
-
And these paint-by-number kits!
The Velvet paintings.....by number...
-
This was the foyer of our last house, I ragged the wall. I loved it.
-
The talent here is Fabulous!! Love looking at these works...want to buy the pillows and ornaments and paintings. Thank you for sharing!
-
Jo, my Dad stitched so many beautiful little pillows.... I finally took them apart and made them into a pretty spread... Most were "Daughter" embroidered! Then I used batting, and lace around it all...
