Lovely photos Annie and Outrunning. LB you will come up against one of those people every now and again, you handled it beautifully, me, I would have clocked her!!!! Odie if it ain't one thing it's another, I think maybe you should double check with your onc just so you have more peace of mind. Patoo glad you found a MO you like, miss always hard when you move having to find all new peeps. Still no relief from this unbearable heat, supposedly it's going to change soon, it can't come soon enough.

Spent my day off doing yard work, my poor roses have been totally neglected as I don't water the lawn I don't go out and water the roses, they have held up but because I've been ignoring the flower bed weeds have taken over and grown like, well weeds so I spent the day giving them the heave ho and pruning the roses, half my lawn is dead so no hope for it, then came in showered and went to Zumba and he really switched it up and threw in combat moves, ballet moves, Bollywood and then burlesque it was terrific fun.

Annie, lovely photo of you and daughter. Odie, good that you got a negative on the results. I'd be nervous too if given progesterone. I'm convinced my estrogen and progesterone hrt tablets called Angeliq (7years of taking) was the main factor that kicked off my cancer cell distortion and of course my breast doc or onc will not corroborate my theory. Mary, I bought this book used: “The Ming Method" by another follower of Guy Voyer and EDOLA Method.

No gym today and I'll be representing Pink Ribbon Pilates at a lecture (went to Staples yesterday and printed more color flyers) in Canterbury (on the cathedral grounds) on breast cancer recurrence, put on by Breast Cancer Care. BCC now seem keen to send women our way, which is super.

Thanks for the healing thoughts all. Am now on antibiotics and by tomorrow will be on the mend. Gym yesterday but cut workout short as I was not up to it.

Annie. . .love the picture. I hope both my ds and dd will do our local walk next year, while I photograph it with dh as my Robin.

Odie good news on the biopsy and glad to hear there is an option for lining. I'm right there with you. Have to have biannual ultrasound.

Outrunning . . .cider and donuts sound really good right now and you got to walk around.

Ruth you are inspiring. My old me would have stayed in bed yesterday instead of going to the gym. Now if I could just remember to buy some butter after PT tonight (PT is in grocery shopping center).

    Good for you, Scottie!

We are just working like crazy because we have to get the yard project (which, of course, like all projects has grown a lot from the original idea) before the weather crashes permanently (which could basically happen at any time).......maybe, maybe we will be done by the end of this week.

Work is frustrating lately - the next person who says, "Let's do more with less!" is gonna get slugged. Yesterday was so bad I opted to walk home, just to burn off the frustration. It's about 4 miles, so at least I got some exercise out of the deal. It was OK as there are sidewalks the whole way, but it's a really ugly walk along major roads - nothing pretty or uplifting about it.

Nats: Work must be miserable because it's not like you to sound so down. Your walk home sounds miserable, also. Hoping things start to turn around for you soon. After all you've been through this year, you don't deserve this. (((HUG)))

Nat. . .hope things get better soon. Work pressure is difficult under the best of circumstances. Hugs and hope you have some good inspiring music to listen to. That at least helps with a non-scenic walk (or in my case a bus ride in crazy traffic).

Off to PT as soon as I get off this bus, then a walk around my lake.

NatsFan. You have my complete empathy. Let's get together and throw rocks at something. (Say the lady leaving the office at 7:45pm)

Nothing for me today. :( And unlikely to be before bedtime.

GRRR, Nats. You should take up kickboxing. Many years ago, I was in kickboxing class when I had a boss I HATED (that is saying a lot about how horrible she was because I usually like, or can tolerate, just about everyone). I would visualize her face whenever we had to punch or kick and did I ever get an excellant workout!!!

I went to my Cardio Sculpt class this morning to find there was no teacher (the usual teacher is out of town & the sub had a sick kid at the last moment). A brave class member volunteered to lead us (actually she used to teach, but hasn't the last couple years as her life is too complicated with work & family commitments). She did a great job for not having any preparation what-so-ever! I did yard stuff all afternoon & went back to Barre tonight (hard! I'm hoping that I will be able to drink unlimited milkshakes like Kindergarten's Barre doing niece!).

Did my walk and all exercise. Still coughing, but definitely on the mend. Someone has to finalize her taxes in the AM. Spent a lot of today redoing things I didn't get quite right because working through all the thingy. GrrrrHHHH!!!!

Good dinner in the oven, so all is right with the world. - Claire

p.s. A co-worker had quite the day yesterday. When her husband asked her what she wanted for dinner, all she could say was "wine"!

Thanks, everyone, for the boosts. You all are such a source of comfort and inspiration - I don't know what I'd do without you. Some days work just catches up to me. Outrunning - I like your throwing rocks idea - Ruth has an ample supply of rocks we could use!Kickboxing sounds good too, and I definitely think Claire's co-worker was on the right track. I actually sat my boss down yesterday morning and discussed the situation. As a result of that conversation, she realized that a co-worker was not doing her job, leaving me to do not only my own job, but a lot of the co-worker's job as well. My boss and the co-worker were in a closed door meeting much of the afternoon, so hopefully that will go a long way to easing the situation.

Scottie - did you see that Toronto had twin panda cubs born Tuesday? First pandas born in Canada, eh?

Five miles of interval track work with the running club last night. Whew!

2.37 mi = 31 minutes of tackling part of the big hill several times then all the way home on the last attack.

Not far but hard enough to not feel so bad about doing nothing yesterday.

Wish I was closer Ruth I'd totally come throw some rock around for you.

The Walking Women did shifts today. Some of us went to a funeral this morning so walked in the afternoon instead. One of our teacher friend's DH passed away over the weekend. Very sad. I will do Zumba and stay for yoga tonight.

edited to say, I wish I knew how to shrink pictures down......I used to be able to but can't anymore since one of the new upgrades

Ruth-Great picture of you and the W.W. I would love to connect with a group for exercise.

Monday I worked out on the treadmill and elliptical at the gym.

Tuesday-I walked at home on the treadmill.

Tonight- I will workout at the park.

I can't believe how quick the week goes by.

Treadmill today35 minutes and my first Zumba class. I had fun and didn't do too bad on the steps. I found myself going the opposite of everyone else sometimes. I'm pretty sure they were doing it wrong.

Two - how silly of your Zumba classmates to do it all wrong! Good thing you were there to uphold the honor of the BCO Sculpted Sisters! Annie - you're keeping busy!! Ruth - always enjoy the pix of your WW women. I'm sorry about the passing of your friend's husband.

I did a pre-dawn 3 mile run this morning. I really really hate when that alarm goes off in the morning, but once I get going it's kind of nice being up before everyone else. And I have to say I enjoy casually dropping at work that I've already done a good run! Two planets were really bright - I think they were Venus and Mars.

The running clinic has an 8 mile run scheduled for this Saturday. (For you locals we're running the Capital Crescent Trail from Bethesda to the Kennedy Center.) Could be interesting - there's a rogue owl that's been attacking runners along that trail - the local Parks office has even posted a warning sign. Good thing I don't have a pony tail!

3 mile walk with Leslie Sansone this morning followed by 4-mile (edit to add 'bike') ride over to the square to pick up tickets for Stevie Wonder (not really him, a pseudo(?)) concert next month.

Dexa scan this afternoon and maybe a walk by the lake in another square afterwards.

Cardio Sculpt, rocks etc. (we just have some finishing touches.....until spring when we will put in a boarder around the backyard, that is the word from DH who is doing most of the heavy lifting......I wonder if this would be a good or bad time to bring up some indoor projects? He will either drop dead or say, "I don't care how much it costs, hire it out!"

Today I also got my FLU SHOT. If you haven't already gotten yours, put it on the schedule!

Worked late then had to go fill scripts for dd. Got my 31st candy from Sam's while I was there and now at the gym trying not to think about eating the candy. Getting our Flu shots Sat. Ruth, but thanks for the reminder. BC notwithstanding, we always has to get the shots because of ds's asthma.

worked out with my trainer this morning. I was late so not quite an hour. But getting back to the level I was before surgery on everything but arms and doing heavier weights with those too.

Then I had PT. gosh I wish she could come home with me. Those amazing hands. Sigh... Thankfully cording is getting better. But She's writing me a script for a compression sleeve for flying. Not that I do it much.

Thanks for the flu shot reminder. I usually get minewith my kids at the ped. But when DD got hers I hadn't seen BS for follow up yet to know if I could get it. By the time I took DS for his check upthey were out. He and I both need to go back.
