Have any of you ladies experienced heart Palpatations since you started taking Tamoxifen?

    I've been taking it for 6 weeks with no problem. Do you have something going on?

    Lhuff, there can be many reasons for heart palpitations or arrhythmias. Some websites list "fast heartbeats" as one of the side effects of Tamoxifen. You don't say how old you are or if you are headed into menopause, but these can be factors also. Stress also!!! And who doesn't have stress during BC treatment! Palpitations themselves are not serious, but you should have it checked out.

    Best thing would be to contact your MO or call your regular physician who can check or refer you to a better option since I've found MOs do not know much about heart issues.

    palpitations can occur right before a hot flash too.
