My Dad
My Dad called the other day and asked if my husband and I would like to visit them and see the fall foliage on the east coast. I live on the west coast and retired from my job last year. He asked if we wanted to come for 2 weeks. Next day I called him back and said I made the reservations and would be there next Thursday. So many missed years of not being able to visit for one reason or another. It feels great, I used FF miles so money wise not a hassle.
I don't know how long he or I have but glad for each visit.

Meow - have a wonderful time. The father - daughter relationship can be complicated. When we're children we think they are superheroes. Later we seen the cracks in the armor. I hope your soul is soothed and refreshed. I love New England in the fall

Meow-Enjoy the time spent with him, take pictures, and laugh a lot. Mine died in 2004 at a young age of 67 and I miss him everyday.
