DIEPers from 2014 and before, need insight

To those who had DIEP over six months ago:

1) What sensation has returned to your breast and belly? Cold, heat, pain?

2) If nipple was spared, does it still get erect when it's cold?

3) Was anyone offered the procedure described here? http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25289267

    4) How does the scar look like in one year? Two? Can you feel it?

    5) How much can you feel? Light touch? A pinprick? Hot/cold water?

    6) Did you develop chronic pain or complications?

    I continue to get more feeling. I'm not sure how much I will regain. I have a friend had 2 DIEP both beasts 10 years ago she says hers is still getting better. I define feel hot/cold and touch sensation.

    my scars are white lines fairly smooth.

    I'm almost 2 years out from original surgery. Only numb areas are actual scars and skin patches transplanted from ab (didn't have nipple sparing). No chronic pain. Had fat grafting twice and some reabsorbed each time. Scars are in various states. Some ate thin white lines, middle of ab is still purplely red and one breast is reddish. I had some scars revised so that accounts for some differences. Tattoos left to do. No regrets
