My therapist uses a stretchy gauze for the fingers when wrapping but I don't like it as it is impossible to clean and a pain to re-wrap. Anyone have a better product for the fingers/hand??

I'm not sure if they make the fingerband anymore. I'm thinking of ordering some / trying this: http://www.lymphedemaproducts.com/products/flexico...

stuff... anyone else tried it (flexicon) yet?

Emily, some of the women here have used self-adhering bandages like CoBan for their fingers (though it's cheaper to buy from a feed store, where it's called VetWrap). But you'd want your therapist to check it out with you, since it's important that the wrapping applies gradient pressure (gradually decreasing pressure as you move toward the hand). I haven't tried it, but I'd assume it'd be easier to keep clean and wouldn't unravel as the gauze wrap sometimes does.

Let us know what you discover!

Well, I hear you Binney but my wonder is that this gauze roll stuff that we are using is not "compression" nor is it washable, and it's a bugger to re-wrap, and it has a very short life span. There has to be an easier, more comfortable, washable alternative.

Ha! other than that I love the stuff!
