Sneaky!

JackB: I'd love to see the video but I can't seem to click on it: is it my computer or the link?

Oh ksusan....have you heard this one?
From another Social D Fan...well being, right?
-
I see your Social Distortion and raise you a Gun Street Girl.
9/29: .33 hr T (2.7 MPH) + Fitbit steps + 120 crunches + 300 pedals + resistance band + 10# lifts [60x4] + resistance band x 2 + 60-sec plank + 1.17 hr T (2.7 mph) = 6.75 miles
-
Littleblueflowers and ksusan: Refreshing!
(I didn't know Social D were still around!) *Hides*
-
Yep! Social Distortion put out a new album a few years ago. It ROCKS.
Ok Ksusan- I fold. Tom Waits is always the winning hand. You reign as queen hipster today!
edited to add: and that song is bad ass. Now I'm stuck in a Tom Waits loop here at work- should make therapy interesting LOL
-
Patti Smith is doing a "Horses" tour this winter....
-
Somehow yesterday I got in 10k steps in addition to my 3 miles at the gym. 1/2 way to 10k today so far. Although I did it in a careless way. Walked to the library, 1.5mi round trip w/o sunscreen or water, an umbrella would've been helpful as well. The sun is so sunny, currently in the 80s - heading up 95. Blech. I have lots of errands to run so hopefully I'll hit that target
-
ok many steps - 7k. Now my feets are going up!
-
Nice work eileen!
Ksusan. Yes. You are the queen of all hip. Patti Smith is awesome
1hr eliptical...sigh
-
33.5 miles on my bike, ocean was beautiful, little glistening sparkles all over the water and with low tide it was amazingly beautiful, beautiful sunset, beautiful day! I can't even explain how beautiful the ocean was today.
And feeling strong, fuck chemo, fuck cancer!
-
Eileen, Jen, and Theresa- well done today! And thanks, T for sharing your bike ride. It sounded spectacular, and I thought I caught a whiff if ocean air. 🚴🚵🏻🚴🚵🏻🚴🚵🏻🚴🚵🏻 (trying to show some hills I know you climbed in the background.)
-
Hooray for ocean beauty!
-
did I mention how beautiful the ocean was today? Lol!
-
9/30: Fitbit steps + 60 crunches + 30 pedals + 20 dead bug pedals + 30-sec plank + 20 modified military presses + resistance band + 1.0 hr T (2.5 MPH) = 5.25 miles
-
Theresa: I wish I were there….although you would be talking to me and I would just be agreeing with everything you said.
-
If I were there Theresa I'd slow you down considerably
-
I wouldn't care. I started helping a friend learn to ride, and we go reaaallllly slow. But I kind of like the change, so I ride with her, then double up and do a second ride and speed run with Cheryl. And I take my step daughter, she goes on an electric bike, pedals when she can, and uses power the rest of the time. It is super fun to have companionship!
-
Something I've always wanted to do is to go on one of the bike tours through small wine towns in Italy. Once the weather stops trying to kill me I want to get my bike fixed and get pedaling. I figure by the time I have enough cash put away I should also be able to do the 15-20 miles per day
-
isn't that the truth, this stupid heat and humidity has been brutal. And I have totally trashed myself this week so today I am not doing a damn thing other than walking. And tomorrow is Herceptin and first post- chemo mammogram. I made an appointment with my breast doctor for next week to go over results. Argh, I really hate this shit
-
1 hr stairmaster. This weekend I won't get much excercise because wedding travel. Next week though...whew. we start a 3 week marathon survey at work. And I finish radiation. And have my first 3 month check with my MO. I just hope I can keep up!!!
-
I'm too tired to add up numbers tonight. We have several students and staff from Umpqua CC or nearby, so it's been an especially heavy day.
-
Susan so sorry. Such a tragic day in Oregon.
-
KSusan, I posted on the other thread, but ditto what Sloth said. I'm an hour from Roseburg and the community here is traumatized. I know you're in education and thought of you immediately when I heard. I'm so very sorry for all of the losses that touch you directly and indirectly. I can't begin to fathom the pain you've had in the last two weeks.
-
Thinking of the Oregonians here tonight. I really don't know what to say, but I'm holding you in my heart.
-
Thank you, Jen, and thinking of you, Katy and Sloth, as well.
-
ksusan, and all of Oregon, and the entire country, I am so sorry. In my thoughts and future action.
-
Theresa: You have to wait a whole week to find out? Ugh. That makes me mad.
-
30 mile bike ride, beautiful ocean again. I am so lucky to live where I do! We took it slower today since I had Herceptin infusion and mammogram today, was really nice.
Allison, I'm okay waiting. I scheduled the appointment, could have gotten in sooner. If something else is there, a few days isn't going to make a big difference
-
A quick note to say that after a test flight of a couple of hours at 30,000 feet without sleeves, so far no evidence of LE. (This was approved by my PT; she still wants sleeves for flights of 4 hours or longer.)
