Jazzy, She's been off the boards for > year. Chevy, Spookie, Teka, LMG, me. She was one of the crazy ladies on OMG They Found A Cure for Stupid in the first 100 pages. Then she started FuzzyLemons Romp Room. One of the gals that her doc keep putting her concern about a lump off for months. Then she had a slew of nodes. Mets'd' last year. Two beautiful college age daughters. Husband that adored her. Loved motorcycles. LOL she was the poster child for the wild youngin'. Got seriously screwed by Walgreens' when she got BC.

I'm so sorry to hear about Fuzzy. She was a delight to know. Heaven will be more interesting now.
-
Sorry to see that some of you have lost another friend to this disease. 😔
-
It sounded like she was.a neat lady. Wish I had known her.
-
So sad. Fuzzy'sthread was one of the first I joined. May she rest in peace and her family find strength in knowing how many lives she touched.
-
Marlana signed in yesterday! That brat didn't even bother to swing by. MARLANA📢📣........ Did you find a new love💝???
Making modified Vietnamese hot and sour soup for dinner. Wish we have fresh fish here in the valley. Have to settle with Costco frozen Pacific Cod
Base broth b4 adding the fish and veggies
-
Sorry to hear about Fuzzy. She was a hoot.
Marley, where are youuuuu?
-
Sassy- I think I remember seeing her on the Cure for Stupid when I checked it out. Just so very sad.
Sending love to all the sisters here.
-
Sassy, women under 40 need more BC awareness!
-
Loveroflife- Costco cod patties when grilled make great fish tacos, tomatoes, chilies, cilantro lettuce etc. I love their salmon patties cooked anyway! I have to share a little with our old man 15 year old Percycat who does so love salmon. Your dinner looked awsome! I love pho and cheat and buy the cubes to make the broth.
I remember Fuzzy and the motorcycles and family in Idaho - I think? Maybe I am mixing people.. brain isn't what it used to be. It seems like we lose folks constantly and the numbers are so sad. Hugs to her family and friends.
Been busy with activities and kids, too tired. Then I crash as I get wildly tired and need naps. Got a UTI and was put on Bactrim then after 3 doses got a whopping case of stomatitis swollen gums & tongue.. quit. OWWIE. My mouth is still bothering me.The drain continues to work yippee, but putting the dressing on by myself is a bit of a challenge. Spent 15 minutes back and forth on calls to get insurance to send out more drain bottles - and success.! Good thing i don't work with all the time spent on the phone. DH will take me to Onc tomorrow. Had another birthday.. who would have thought. DH and DD3 made the best moistest vegan chocolate cake I have ever eaten. (DD2 is vegan). If anyone wants the recipe I will post it - no eggs, no milk. Might be helpful for those with allergies, looking for alternatives. Had a great B-day with my family and we went to the Chinese Classical Garden in Portland. So many Koi, water plants, beautiful carved doors and buildings. A lovely place to just sit and admire the splendor of it all! Kids love the place since there is so much to look at. If you have the chance to go see it, it is worth the effort!
Hugs to all.
-
Agh Rose!! Knew I fogot something on Sunday. Glad you had a wonderful time with family. I would invite you over for Pho if we lived close to each other. Mom makes the best pho
-
-
And have aloe vera tea afterward for your stomatitis
-
Rose, would love the cake recipe. Have a dear friend who is vegan and would like to make it for her when she is feeling better. She is going through her second round of chemo for ovarian cancer and it is taking its toll on her.
-
rosevalley--happy belated birthday! Sounds like a wonderful time with your family!
So sorry for the loss of fuzzy. May she rip and I pray for all who loved her
-
Gwad Rosie, hAppy birthday. Sounds like it was beautiful, I can just envision it. I've been immersed on tornado thread to the exclusion of all else. Oh well, autocorrect.
Hugs everyone..brainmush
-
Hahahaha....that is the beauty of autocorrect
-
DH will help me post the recipe got it off pintrest best vegan recipes, we added especially high end chocolate powder, then "butter cream" vegan frosting. Seriously it was to die for great. Very sweet, mightcut back on the sugar and still have it be sinfully yummy and few ingredients. All six of us raved and DH even took some to work to share with some folks that are 7th Day adventists and vegan and they all raved.
Loveroflif- if you lived close i would be a begging to learn to make that yummy stock that only Vietnamese know how to make. I can manage the noodles and chopping the other ingredients but it's the broth and spices that make Pho. Alas I settle for cubes from the ADong Market. We all love it! DH in particular and my Vietnamese daughter adore Pho. I should try the aloe tea.. good idea and that tea garden and saucers to sip and enjoy the garden. Tomorrow starts Fall, which I love but I am so still enjoying the garden, hate to see the hostas leaves turning white. sigh.. Change is life. Hugs and lovingkindess to all.

Shoot, I hate hearing of a sister losing this fight. I didn't know her but did see her name on that sight. We spent the day running errands and trying to walk more. I'm a lazy ass bum but I love it. But this is a busy month for me and I have to step it up. Sooooooo, when I saw this shirt at one of the sports shots I knew I had to take a photo and post it for one of the best gals around. I hope everyone gets a little chuckle....
-
Sorry about Fuzzy. She seemed to be a hoot. Will be missed.
Happy belated Rosie. Cake sounds Devine. Sorry about the UTI and more troubles. Yuck and double yuck.
Never had pho. Maybe need to try it. Recipe? For mommies that burn dinner as often as not.
Smarty. That quilt. How do you not go cross eyed? It's gorgeous.
You all are very talented ladies.
-
Woke up with a pain in the neck. Must have slept wrong.
-
Aw geez........ It's like we meet so many wonderful women, and we just go on, and wonder if we told them all how much we really cared! We lose track of some, and more over to other threads, and each one of you will leave a little foot-print on our hearts...... So thank you all for being a part of our lives.......Missing little fuzzy....
-
happy late b day Rosie. Happy you had a great time
Sas...you got to get that shirt...lol
