Ebru, you are so beautiful inside and out, hair or no hair, blue, green or purple or anything else! And most of all, I am so glad that your pain level is reduced and that you are back with us!
-
Ebru, you are so incredibly HIP that the blue hair looks amazing. Rock 'n Roll, baby! SUE
-
Love that you're experimenting with color. It makes your eyes pop. You must smile every time you pass a mirror! Can't wait to see the purple next time. How long does it last?
-
Love the blue hair! Blue and white are the colors of Zurich, with diagonal fields in the flag just like your hair! You can model for our tourism Office.
Glad to see you back and already livening things up here...
-
Your photos are great Ebru!
Thanks for sharing them.
-
ebru I have missed you so very much .nice to see your back yeah.
-
Regardless of hair color, you shine
-
Welcome back!
I was quiet for awhile too... Sometimes this all simply gets to be too much, cancer that is.
I'm lucky, some very lovely ladies checked on me, and I appreciated that! ☺️
I've been loading up your "quotes of the day" thread with sayings I had saved to my fone, I hope you don't mind....my sharing...
-
Oh my Ebru is back. You brighten our day when you post. You are the sunshine of our days. Hugs and pain free days. {{{{o}}}}

I love, love that I get to see you, Ebru!!! I love your "Jessie" avitar (big Toys fan here) but it's YOU...and you're so lovely!!! Thank you for your wise advice on ignoring negativity. I have to say before stage 4, I lived that lifestyle...then bam!!! So, back to those rosy glasses (and Prozac)...and I will credit that to you (my family will love you always!). I'm thinking a chauffeur (maybe handsome dr moonlights!) to get around??? Just hoping for happy days for you...and that healing miracle too :-). (ps...if your elections look like our elections...I'll pick you up for a one-way trip to Antarctica!).
-
Wonderful to hear from you, Ebru!!! Sending much love…
Rose.
-
I had to laugh at your not so thrilled face with blue hair! I agree with the others...beautiful No matter what color
-
Hooray! Erbu and Skylotus both back! I've missed you ladies. Erbu - you are stunning. And I love the blue hair. Sorry you had to give up driving but glad your pain is under control.

With that beautiful face - who cares what colour the hair is?!!!

Ebru,
Hard to imagine you not bombing up and down those hills in your own car, but I bet others with some "pep" will now drive you. Tomorrow, I have the Turkish cousins here for dinner..... 13 people!!!! Can you imagine? Days like this, I think having some help about the house could be useful. Mr 02143 will do all the non-cooking chores like washing the linens, setting the table, and vacuuming the floors while I concentrate on making food. He sends a big hug and sheepishly admits that he has forgotten all the words that you taught him.

Glad to hear from you Ebru. I'm so glad your pain is under control. My driving privileges have been revoked for the time being. Driving is truly one of my favorite things to do. And with three kids not being allowed to drive is a challenge. Oh well the things we sacrifice so we can continue to put this cancer in it's place.
Gladv to hearG -
Ebru,
In the spirit of having fun with oneself (hair color, body art etc.). I got my first tattoo today.
A symbol familiar to both of our traditions
-
Ebru,
So glad you are back. I have loved and look forward to your posts. Have you seen the rainbow hair trend? I think you would rock that look.
-
Ebru,
I know you didn't care for the blue - but I think it was very flattering on you! It brought out the blue in your eyes! The rest of your hair has a nice soft look to it in that pic too. That being said, I have to admit, I don't think I'd be comfortable going around with hair quite that blue either, so I do understand you're not being crazy about it. It sounds like it was taken care of though? I agree with Hummingbird - you look great which ever way your hair is! Lol about the parrot look, btw - especially with the feathery look of the bangs there, I can see the comparison. : )
Love and hugs,
Amy

Hi Ebru,
Wanted to acknowledge you on your own topic...as I saw on Nancy's Crossroads topic that you too have been facing a tough time - in hospital, with effusions, away from home.
Thank you for updating us, Ebru!
May you find healing and return to your beloved life.
Ebru, I am holding you in loving kindness and warm care, Stephanie
-
Dearest Ebru, I saw that you have been in the hospital, and my heart hurt for you. My thoughts went back to that lovely evening in Istanbul when we met and visited. Please know, dear heart, that we are your community and are all sending healing, love and light to you. Hope that you are home soon. Fondly, SUE
-
Oh Ebru, I hadn't realized you were in the hospital. I am so terribly sorry - I'd thought you'd taken a bit of an R&R break and were Ebay-ing. You are in my thoughts daily, and I always smiled when I imagined you happily surrounded by knickknacks and packing boxes destined for all parts of the world to eagerly waiting Ebay-ers. I feel so badly for your recent difficulties.
When times get tough, it is sometimes easier to retreat, yet those are the times we most need to hear messages of love and support. I hope you are feeling a bit better and stronger. If love and good wishes can make a difference, then hopefully your days will continue to steadily improve!
Sending you the warmest and gentlest hug...
-
Ebru, I just want to send you my love and positive wishes
-
Oh how lovely to see you back! I missed you!
