Thanks Jazzy, I do the backstroke and modified breast stroke. Then a backstroke I learned as a kid. It has had an odd result. I'll et you know what I find
Odd I have to keep it under thrirty too. I was doing 35-40---crippled me, then they're was that DUH moment. Otherwise, too much pain the next day. When I backed off the pain was majorly less. Try to keep around 25, but I loose count. Best investment of years was the solar panels.
Loverly, I definitely pinpointed my Ativan as raising my tinnitus to very loud levels. It where's off to low levels after about a day, sometimes more. Bummer. Must get out and get some melatonin.
-
Sassy- oh yes, breast stroke too. I forgot that one. I keep my laps to 30 most of the time, 40 max. I was doing as much as 70 about five years ago but no way my shoulders can handle that now.

hi lovely Owlettes. Just a quick post to say g'day. Haven't quite caught up on all the news since I went off to be a super trooper in Melbourne but thought I would pop in anyway.
Before I share my news..... Sas, your DB is a lucky guy to have you as a sister speaking up with such knowledge on his behalf. Rose, so glad you have got a way to get timely relief from the ascites.
Thank you to those who some......I dunno......20 or so pages back......gave me advice last week about managing work. It meant so much to me that you shared some tips and understood what I was trying to say. My DX was DCIS, very extensive with 17.5cm of malignancy and everything else pre-malignant. Nowhere near as frightening as many of you amazing ladies have experienced but I have not fared well since DX and going back to work was so much more difficult for this tough old bag than I expected it to be.
As it turns out, when I got back from Melbourne my PS decided now was the time to finish my interrupted ( because of multiple complications) reconstruction and so I am now recovering from unexpected surgery on Thursday. He added a reduction of my healthy breast to the surgery as there was no way possible to reconstruct my UMX site to match the healthy one.
He has done a great job, and I know I am very lucky. I am off work again for another couple of weeks and am hoping for trouble free wounds healing. When I go back to work, your words of advice will be guiding me. Thank you so much for your generosity of spirit.
Jac

Jacfin, Great news. Hope your recovery is easy-peasy. Thanks about DB Charlie, but he's a pain in the neck.
LOVERLY---------------he's coming. I called Retsky and he's coming to look at the thread. I'm breathless. Had to work hard at not getting tongue tied. He's really a nice guy. Very easy to talk too. It will be hard to wait.......................Need to work off this energy BBL.
-
Looks like I'll have that pesky essay done tomorrow. I only have about 300 words left to go. Won't be a big deal for me once I get my thoughts in gear and my fingers typing

Ms.. Sas, I missed the bus! Well, I hope Dr. Retsky comes back. I have one more question to ask him. He sounded down to earth.
Hiho, you made it! You have pics to share?
Hi Jacfin, best wishes on your recovery.
Ativan causing tinnitus?? Interesting...just like Keflex causing mine. I wonder how? Hmm
-
Mommy, I am stressing just reading how much you have to write. Hah!
-
Yay, now I can relax and concentrate on other things. Essay is done at last and sent in! I usually don't mind writing an essay, but the professor is not very clear on what she wants in the essay, you basically have to guess.
