Itchy

Sounds pretty bad! As a result of biopsies, I learned that I was allergic to "steri-strips". I had very focused itching under and around the stern-strips, plus small blisters. Is your itching site-specific or more generalized?

Missarmy...i have the same severe reaction...I tell all my DRs..surgeons do not use clear surgical tape.

On the night of my stereotactic biopsy it was almost raw and bleeding. I called ER and spoke to a nurse she said take it off and use a regular bandaid.

Miss: Omigosh...had recent excisional biopsy and was sooo itchy. At first I thought it was the incision, then realized I'd had an allergic reaction to either the iodine solution they used to disinfect, or to the adhesive on bandages. I was super-red and blotchy for days, and my husband doused me with colloidal oatmeal spray LOL. It helped. Are you blotchy?
