Poppy- in your pocket today.
Ducky- the last time I put the trash out when i shouldn't have the bear got it and it and the bear's "residue" was EVERYWHERE. You tell a great story. ROFLMAO here but sorry you had to clean it all up. Wouldn't want to be on the business end of your ammonia bottle that is fo sho.
Christine- glad you still have medicinal wine on hand. I can see the mothership's notmal flight pattern straddles Crazytowm and a world known only to her. Which could be a good distraction right now. With all due respect to her. And you. But you are making me laugh as much as Ducky!
Speaking of which: We haven't had a CT executive nomination in awhile.
Ducky would you be pleased or insulted to be raised to the official position of Chief Clown? You have already assumed most of the duties. You also would have to teach a few underlings the gift of looking at a dozen broken eggs as an omelette. A gift that should be honored, is honored, highly in CTown

Good Morning Crazies!!
Poppy, I'm so sorry you're driving around Crazy Town. We are all in your pocket today for your US. Please let us know how it goes. Hopefully you don't have a chocolate hangover this morning!! Gentle hugs to you!! All good thoughts going in your direction!!
eggroll, Hope all goes well with your surgeon appointment today!! Hopefully you get your MRI results and everything looks good!! We are all in your pocket!!
Tomboy, Thinking of you!! Not sure if you're home or not, but if you are, I'm picturing you in the shop working away on your projects!!
Katy, How fun that must have been to have your prom at the Del!! Pretty cool that you lived in Peru. I've been thinking about the people of Chile all night long. I just can't imagine an earthquake that big.
Sula, I don't like eggplant, but your picture does look inviting. I may be tempted to try it if I were in your presence.
PTS, Waking up with squish-o-fright is not a great way to wake up!! haha
Ducky!! hahahahahahaha.....I keep picturing you hanging out the window with your broom!! What a funny story!!! Thanks for the belly laugh this morning!!! hahaha Can you imagine if someone got a glimpse of you??? hahahahaha If I was your neighbor, I certainly wouldn't admit to seeing you!!! hahahahaha
Gaia, I know it's not something to laugh at, but I did get a mental picture of your mom's store on wheels being towed before you posted the pictures. It's not as bad as I'd pictured. hahaha
I admit, it made me laugh. hahaha My mother was also a character, and she kept us all laughing often. Enjoy the crazy times with your mom. I know it can be annoying when you're in the moment with her, but one day when she's isn't here, you'll be looking back fondly as you remember her crazy antics.
I still haven't done my blood work. I keep putting it off. I guess I don't feel like starting this whole process over again. I go on the 24th for the US of my thyroid. I'm embracing the word procrastination at the moment.
Thinking of all of you. -
Slow, Gaia, Sula- here's more ammo. I'm ramping upmy war on Pinktober. Stealing memes from anywhere and sharing with anyone who can read :
-
Gaia, Love "Mothership"! Always exciting.
Ducky, Excellent story. I can see your face when you tell the neighbor that you slept through it.
Several years ago while my DH, the kids and I were vacationing in Hawaii, our house alarm went off. The sensor in our front bedroom window was activated. The alarm company called our contacts when there was no answer at our house. We had listed my Aunt Sandy as an emergency contact since she lives about 10 minutes away. Aunt Sandy told both the alarm company and the police dept that the bedroom window sensor was most likely activated by my husband during a midnight game of dashing cat burglar and sexy home owner.

good one Katy.
And slow that pic you found is hilarious. There have been times her car has looked like that minus the hats
And Katy and slow. I fear I've portrayed that I am not grateful for my mothers whacky presence.
She truly does occupy a world of her own but she has a heart of gold and an indominable spirit. So yes it can be trying at times but there is always a lot of laughter.
I will properly say hello to others once I'm off my phone. I hate posting from it.
More later crazies.

Jackie...........it takes a lot to insult this old gal...............now for the real truth.............when I graduated HS........they always picked "Class Something". for the Yearbook..............Best dressed, Best looking, Most likely to succeed, Best athlete...................I got Class Clown...........
So I guess I can be the CRAZY TOWN CLOWN.......................
-
I think we were all posting at the same time!
Ducky, let's not forget: member of the mile high club! LOL
-
Oh, The police have arrested the guy that broke into the animal shelter. The arrest was announced about and hour ago, with no further details. It seems he wanted to take three dogs that were in quarantine as part of a case (they haven't said whether it was a case of biting or animal cruelty or what). He let the other dogs go to confuse investigators about why the break in happened. I have know idea why he killed the dogs. I "met" on facebook the owner of the dog that was at the animal shelter to get spayed. I feel sad for her and her family. She is having nightmares about what her dog went through.
-
Poppy- that is dreadful what that woman and other dog lovers are going through due towhatever that sick person's cause is/was. Just sickening, but thanks for the update. I had been wondering but didn't trust myself to wander around in that part of google land.
On a much more pleasant note, seeing as how Ducky is not insulted, thankfully, how about I nominate Ducky for Chief Mile High Clown? You always make us laugh Ducky. Thank you. Btw, my brother and fam live in Springfield, Pa, and I spent many years in Bucks County, with weekends on the Eastern Shore. It took me years to distinguish the Shore (New Jersey), from the Beach (Delaware) to the Eastern Shore (Maryland). But I was there long enough to resonate with much of what you say. Like:
Corn. Tomatoes. Peaches.
-
Good on the nitwit who hurt the animals.............
Oh yes, my Pilot and my very first Chicago trip.....................will never forget that trip............Weekend of April 6th 2013.........still petrified of flying...................and let's not forget.............oldest, smartest, prettiest funniest, sexiest as some of you well know.....................
Hell I've bragged about it long enough.............LMAO..............here he is ladies.
-
Funnier still was when I said to the Pilot......how can you see out of those small windows to drive the plane....................ok........so I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer...................
When I told my grandson what I said he said to me "Ahhhh, Nan, now you sound like Rose Nilan (Betty White) from the Golden Girls....................LOL
I said "Oh then that would explain the odd look I got my the Pilot..................
-
Ducky- I can see why he pushed your buttons! My goodness, you could push buttons on the ceiling while lying on your back! Did you?,hahaha. Btw, is that his sack lunch on the dashboard or a bag of sex toys?
-
Christine- make no mistake. I could hear the love and respect for your mom despite anything you wrote. I'm sure we all did. Not to mention the photo that was worth 1,000 words.
Cherish the time with her like Beppy said. ππͺπ
-
Jackie.........funny you would you ask.........I thought...................how come you don't have to eat a bitty bag of peanuts, and a plastic cup of "whatever"..........LOL
-
Whoa Ducky!!!
wow that sounds like something that would happen here in Sonoma. I've done similar things to your grandson only resulting in skunks so I learned my lesson when I opened the kitchen door to the deck because I thought the neighboirs cat (who I fed) was out there. Instead it was Pepe Le Pew!
. Hope you called him and told him what happened. He needs to listen to the big game hunter, his nan. Of course, things could always be worse
-
You guys are all making me laugh! Thanks for a bright morning!
-
Ok, just got back from the $1.00 store........................I am now the owner of a 1/2 gallon of Amonia, and a king size bottle of Cayanne pepper............just hope I remember after throwing the pepper around I must wash my hands..............unlike the time I was a good "mother, and made roasted peppers with garlic and oil, and did not know you should wear gloves when you clean and wash the peppers...........
Guess who coulddn't wipe their own "butt" for 4 days unless she wore rubber gloves..............yep............you guessed it....................so I also bought rubber gloves at the $1.00 store.............and Mr. "if I smile my face will crack"......said to me at the register............"What are you trying to kill".................................
What I wanted to say was "You Mr. Happy".....but again............I just acted like the "lady" I always am"......................DID I JUST SAY THAT............HAHAHA......LMAO........
-
OMG...soooo much here to make me laugh, and so much to like! Come Pink October that meme is going all over everything I can put it on Katy. actually may not wait that long.
I think ducky's nomination is official, but I second it just in case!
Gaia, someday soon I will need to add in my 'Mothership' stories....some pretty good ones here too~
Hugs to allOctogirl
-
Ducky,
I just couldn't help myself...
-
LMAO.............
-
Ducky, As Mayor of Crazy Town, I appoint you Town Clown!! All Town Clowns need their OWN crown!!
Also......just for you....
-
hahahaha Sula!! Love the racoon coming out of the wall!! hahahahahaha
-
Poppy, your sister story cracked me up!!
Ducky, I did that with pepper once. I rubbed my eyes and it was awful.
Gaia, Absolutely not. You didn't portray that you're not grateful for your mom. I was extremely grateful for my mom, but that doesn't mean she didn't drive me INSANE on a daily basis when she was here. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her or miss her. I miss her crazy.
-
Ducky.. HaHaHa.. Just read your story to hubby... He's laughing too!!
Gaia.. Just love your mum's general store!!
-
Slow.. Hmm..Now I'm wondering what my kids are thinking about me :-)
