I am a 10 year survivor of IBC
I just had an MRI for something else and this is what they found "In the T4 vertebral body is a lesion which extends from the superior
to inferior endplate which may represent a hemangioma or a metastatic
lesion." I am waiting to find out what other kind of imaging ect or where we go from here.
I don't want to worry but not feeling very good about it at

Tina,
Hurray for ten years!!
I'm being tracked for something on my spine. My first DX was it was a tiny spot of blood. Now three months later they want a recheck. In a way, this is scarier than my initial DX, but I know I'll fight it. You can fight it too, there are women here with bones who are quite active after 7-8 years beyond DX.
Don't give up hope and we're here for anything we can give.
Thinking of you,
Bride

Tina,
Congrats on the 10 years. Hope this is not another met, but seems doable to radiate if it is. I've had many bone mets radiated.

hello: this is Kathy, I had a similar experience, my markers were elevated, my MRI was showing leisions through out my spine, hips, and pelvic areas, my onc. did not believe it was cancer, he was sure that I had hemagin, sorry don't know how to spell it correctly, called a bone disease but not cancer, my markers were at the time 60, not alarming. To make a long story short we did a bone biopsy and my the results came back + , I had me static breast cancer. Theres much more to my story if we could ever speak one on one I would love that. Push for the biopsy, it is better to be safe being that you have the history. Just sharing a similar experience, not trying to scare you. I also am a 10 year survivor with bone mets all over and going strong. Much respect sister.
