I am new here. Marysmith is my user name but not my real name.

I am having a biopsy shortly on a large black nodule found during a mammogram a few days ago. I am 47 and in great shape. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer at 65 but is fine now, and I have had several relatives with breast cancer

I am a teacher in a new school building. 3 colleagues YOUNGER than me were diagnosed with breast cancer in a matter of months. I wonder about carcinogens. . . .

My pain started a year ago with massive shooting pains in my arms, which radiated to between my shoulder blades. Constant pain. I have had a stiff neck at least 15x/month for a year. Severe leg pain after exercise ~ even walking, dizziness, shortness of breath ~ all for a year. My blood work was not of major concern ~ it was chocked up as "a virus." I was even hospitalized with chest pains. Constant fatigue for a year. I had a mammogram last year and was called back due to very dense breasts, but they said I was fine.

Today I feel like an elephant is sitting on my chest. I get very bad stiff neck pain and severe pain between my shoulder blades. My right arm gets a numb-like feeling. I can't get through the day without napping, and now this nodule.

What alarmed me was the doctor that found the nodule by ultrasound looked at me as she was looking at the nodule and said "have you been feeling okay?" In denial I said "yes ~ fine ~ why?" And she said "That's good, but you should get this checked."

I have severe chest pains ~ that's my biggest ailment. . . .are these signs?
