Biopsy done and now the wait

I finally had my excisional biopsy Monday afternoon and now I play a bit more of the waiting game. It's never fun but particularly not fun when the post anesthesia weepies kick in. I hate surgery, hate purging the drugs from my system. The incision itself is looking good and not feeling too bad at all, but I struggle so much with getting my energy back and feeling like my brain cells are functioning. I know I'll feel much better tomorrow but today just kind of sucks. I was sportin' a low-grade fever last night, the benefit being no hot flashes. I'll take it. And my throat has been super sore. I just looked in my mouth and I have a large spot that is either bruised from the thing they put in to keep airway open or I have some sort of virus/infection going on. Will see my PCP later today. For now I just need to get through the day and know that tomorrow will be better and soon I will finally have answers after a summer of waiting and wondering.
