Just had core needle biopsy

hi everyone

Had my core needle biopsy today. The dr who did it mentioned a dilated duct and she said she got some fluid and some tissue with the samples she took. The procedure didn't hurt but man it hurts now! So, why is my duct dilated? What are the chances this is not something benign

    Not sure -I used my ice pack and that helped with the soreness. I also wore my sports bra for 2 days.

    Wishing you a big B-9- most biopsies are negative and my surgeon did mention that they are doing more and more biopsies these days. My mother has had at least 3 of them and they were all negative.

    I had mine Friday. Still waiting on results. I am still a little sore, but I second what MarieTherese says about the ice pack. My lump is BIRAD-4, but it looks mostly benign, only its solid. I was told not to worry too much. But that is hard.
